Spec No Longer a Dirty Word


In the west end office market, the top deals for 2013 were Sobey's (202k SF), Bayer (135k SF), Samsung (125k SF), and Worley Parsons (96k SF), says Avison Young broker and principal Joe Almeida. The key trends he's watching: the continued flight to quality by tenants and the bullishness by owners and developers to build on spec and deliver new product to the market.
