For Coca-Cola president John Guarino, it was a no-brainer to hang the hat of the companys new Canadian HQ in Torontos burgeoning downtown east end, just above the old Toronto Suncorporate offices on King Street East. First Gulf redeveloped 100K SF of glass-enclosed space on the top of the old building (above, the office opening). We were at our Overlea location for over 40 years, and as our company has grown, we have had many discussions about how to best accommodate the needs of staff, John says. That means environmentally sound space, which'll decrease energy costs (it's applied for LEED certification). And hopefully this means more Vanilla Coke will be readily available when we need our fix.
