Big Plans For Toronto CREW Event
"Fun" and "cool" is how Cadillac Fairview's Finley McEwen describes working on CF's JV with Armadale to turn the 170-acre Buttonville Airport into an 9.5M SF, mixed-use development, complete with man-made lake. The development SVP is showing off plans next Wednesday to guests of Toronto CREW, 5:30pm at 20 Queen West (register here). Finley will also talk about the Sherway Gardens expansion, but clearly he has a special passion for Buttonville, which would include 3M SF of office and 1M SF of retail. "It's a case study of what the province wants in the Places To Grow Act. It's infill, dense, and lots of people will spend their entire days there."
