  As Vice President of Facilities Development, Julie Herb oversees all design and development, construction, and real estate for Virtua Health. Virtua is South Jersey’s largest health system with five hospitals and approximately 300 additional locations throughout the region. Having worked on a multitude of projects and negotiations over her career, including the region’s first Proton Therapy Center, Julie’s current responsibilities include executive oversight for care transformation initiatives at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and Virtua Mount Holly Hospital. Over the past twenty-five years, Julie has proven to be an industry leader in the health care real estate and development space. Among the many accomplishments throughout her leadership journey, Julie has led the facilities efforts for the Epic transformation across the multi-hospital system, the integration of numerous properties from acquisition activities, the disposition of facilities from a variety of initiatives, as well as billions of dollars of capital construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects. As a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and the Business Management Program of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Julie holds a professional designation with the Counselors of Real Estate, serving as Chapter Treasurer, and is also a Member of the Board of Trustees with Oaks Integrated Care.

  During his career in commercial real estate, Jeffrey has managed strategic planning and transactional financing for clients consisting of high- net-worth individuals and corporations throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. For the past 18 years he has primarily focused on projects involving single-tenant commercial office; special purpose medical; and age-targeted developments, facilitating and directing several hundred million dollars’ worth of successful projects. In his role as a Partner at Mediplex Property Group, Jeffrey focuses on developing strategic relationships with health systems, independent physician network practices, institutions, and municipalities that comprise the company’s core competencies, and are the backbone of the Company’s successful growth and expansion plans. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s Degree from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America.

  Jayme Jaisle

  Jayme Jaisle is Senior Counsel for Temple University Health System, a $2.4 billion dollar academic health system dedicated to providing access to quality patient care and excellence in medical education and research. Temple Health includes four hospital campuses--Temple Main, Jeanes, Episcopal and Northeastern—plus Fox Chase Cancer Center. In addition, as part of a consortium consisting of three entities, Temple Health recently acquired Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital, with Jayme serving as lead in-house transactional counsel for the acquisition. Jayme has spent her career advising non-profit academic health systems on complex regulatory and business matters with an eye toward innovative solutions. Her practice is focused on transactional and regulatory matters, provider contracting, payer reimbursements, leasing, graduate medical education arrangements, and fraud and abuse reviews. Jayme also serves as board secretary to Temple Center for Population Health, Temple Cares ACO, and Temple Physicians, Inc.

  Kyle Terry has more than 12 years of experience as a structural engineer specializing in healthcare facilities. He has worked on a wide range of projects including: the new RWJBH; Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Cancer Pavilion, Main Line Health Lankenau Medical Center Emergency Department Expansion, CHOP Hub for Clinical Collaboration, Jefferson Cherry Hill ; Washington Township Hospital Expansions, and numerous others.   Braheem Santos is currently the Healthcare Strategic Account Executive with Schneider Electric having recently joined from Penn Medicine. In this role, he helps to understand the needs of Strategic Healthcare Systems and how to best approach them with various technology solutions. Previous to his current role, Braheem was most recently the Associate Director of Physical Plant for Penn Medicine’s Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) which followed his role as the Pavilion Project Engineering Manager. He has a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & healthcare industry to produce, sustain and innovate patient care facilities. Braheem earned his BS focused in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University where he is also pursuing his Master of Business Administration.   Thomas Ford has more than 27 years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for healthcare facilities. He has worked with Main Line Health - Lankenau Hospital, UMDNJ, Beth Israel Medical Center, University of Pennsylvania Hospital, New York Presbyterian and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Thomas was the Project Manager & Lead Mechanical Designer for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Monmouth and oversaw the HVAC systems planning and design of this adaptive reuse project as well as all interdisciplinary coordination & construction administration duties. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of ASHRAE & ASHE.

  Steve Malloy

  Steve Malloy is one of Turner’s most experienced healthcare construction specialists. He has successfully delivered more than 150 projects across the campuses of many of the region’s premier health care organizations, including Virtua Health, Main Line Health, Jefferson Health, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Shriners Children’s, St. Mary Medical Center, and Nemours Children’s Health. Steve’s track record of a collaborative approach with clients and commitment to turning over projects on-time and on-budget has allowed him to gain an understanding of the healthcare market needs from a design, construction and maintenance point of view. As Operations Manager for Turner’s local Special Projects Division (SPD), Steve is responsible for directing all SPD field staff, as well as overseeing an annual portfolio of renovation and interior fit-out construction projects worth more than $150-$200 million. Steve is both a certified ICRA for Healthcare Construction professional and a Board of Certified Safety Professionals Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction. He is also a member of the Healthcare Engineers Association of Southern New Jersey. Steve holds B.A. in Business Economics from Lafayette College and an MBA from Villanova University.

  Christopher Prochner

  Christopher Prochner has been the leader of global consulting engineering firm JB&B’s healthcare division for the past 16 years, growing, developing and guiding a 60-member team spanning all trades, with ongoing expansion into the Philadelphia region. In addition to his involvement with the city’s Jefferson Health Honickman Center, Mr. Prochner has also worked with some of New York’s most renowned medical centers and research facilities, where he has been a key player in campus master planning efforts as well as implementing cutting-edge technologies to provide buildable, maintainable and scalable systems while improving patient-centered care. In response to the pandemic in 2020, Mr. Prochner was instrumental in leading the MEP design of SUNY Stony Brook’s five-tent, 1,028-bed Alternate Care Facility to serve both Covid-19 and non-Covid-19 patients. He has spoken on numerous industry-wide panels, including ASHE’s 2022 International Summit & Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design & Construction (PDC Summit), where he participated in a roundtable discussion on Carbon Reduction/Electrification – A New Healthcare Design Paradigm, focused on national trends in carbon emission reduction policies and the technologies available—and viable—in helping to electrify building heating and cooling systems. In addition to having moderated a virtual lecture and book signing with former Jefferson Health CEO Dr. Stephen Klasko in March 2021, he also participated in the New York Building Congress’s Hospitals and Local Law 97 - Understanding the Path to Common Ground, also March 2021; AMFP’s Get Smart – “Smart” Building Technology for Healthcare Facilities in the 21st Century, February 2021; and NEW Conversations: Expanding Opportunities in Healthcare Design and Construction in NYC, December 2020.   Clayton Mitchell (Mitch) is a visionary leader and corporate real estate executive who has consistently built high performing teams capable of delivering transformational real estate portfolio results.   Sara is an interior design principal in our Philadelphia studio, specialized in healthcare design and highly skilled in deep collaboration with construction and design colleagues. Through 17 years of experience, her understanding of healthcare design has extended beyond the built environment toward designing places where people can experience healthcare with trust and comfort and where staff can operate with efficiency and feel their health and well-being is top of mind. Sara’s ability to deliver complex projects within multidisciplinary team structures exemplifies her passion for designing beautiful spaces that impact people’s experience of healthcare and that improve their quality of life. Her work as a key member of the PennFIRST integrated project delivery team illustrates the impact of her ability to collaborate. "I choose to design for healthcare because it’s very technical and constrained; and I love a challenge.   Ryan brings over 16 years of experience at HSC overseeing the many details of complex healthcare projects in the Philadelphia region. He has constructed both interior renovations and new construction projects while effectively navigating the everchanging marketplace conditions. With this experience, he is able to execute long term planning as well as delve into the details of projects, ensuring success for the team. As Project Director, Ryan works closely with his clients and design teams to plan, start, and successfully manage the construction project to completion. His oversight starts with providing preconstruction support and overall project planning and concludes on Day 1 of patient care. Additionally, he is a continual learner who is working towards his Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
