  Aliza Karney Guren

  Aliza Karney Guren is the Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of Karney Properties. She assumed her position in 2003 and sets the overall strategy for the company. She is also directly involved in all key areas of the company’s activities, including development, finance, acquisitions and dispositions and asset management.She has spent more than 20 years in the real estate industry, including related experience in law and mediation. Prior to joining the company in 1991, she was a practicing attorney and mediator, and founded and directed an independent nonprofit arts organization. Aliza Guren, a California-licensed general contractor, is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks. She is also a board member of the Center Theatre Group, one of the nation’s largest and most active theater companies. In 2014, she was named one of Bisnow’s top 60 women in Los Angeles commercial real estate. She is a member of ULI, RPO, POWRE, and Land Ladies. Aliza Guren earned a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Harvard University, where she also earned a law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of California.

  Jason Gremillion

  Jason Gremillion serves as the Senior Vice President of Development for Wonderful Real Estate where his focus is on sourcing, executing, and overseeing current and new development opportunities for the Wonderful Industrial Park, North Meadows Business Park, and Crossroads Business Park. Mr. Gremillion’s diverse experience encompasses 20 years of commercial construction, real estate development, and investment. Over this time, Mr. Gremillion has developed an exceptional track record in all aspects of commercial real estate including acquisitions, dispositions, market analyses, entitlements, development, and asset management. Mr. Gremillion received his Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Management from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, Mr. Gremillion is a combat veteran, serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps, and is a Purple Heart recipient. When not at work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and horses at their family ranch, traveling, and participating in veteran outreach and assistance.

  Fernando Villa has significant land use, regulatory, real estate and litigation experience helping clients secure entitlements while mitigating development risk. He advises clients on entitlements and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review for complex development projects and on reducing exposure to environmental liabilities. Fernando’s entitlement work spans industrial, mixed-use, residential, commercial and retail developments.   Patrick Schlehuber

  Mr. Schlehuber has led Rexford Industrial’s property acquisition efforts since joining in 2009. He is also a member of Rexford’s Investment Committee. To date, Mr. Schlehuber has led the acquisitions team through 131 property acquisitions totaling nearly $2 billion and adding 17.2 million square feet to Rexford’s portfolio. Mr. Schlehuber has over 20 years of property investment and finance experience including acquisitions, dispositions, asset and construction management and leasing throughout California. Prior to his time at Rexford, Mr. Schlehuber was an Investment Officer at First Industrial Realty Trust, another publicly traded Industrial REIT. Additionally Mr. Schlehuber spent time working in investment banking and financial consulting at Relational Advisors (formerly Batchelder & Partners) and Arthur Anderson. Mr. Schlehuber is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant (Illinois-Inactive). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

  Tyler Banton

  Mr. Banton serves as the Southern California Director and Partner at Lovett Industrial. Tyler is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of Lovett’s projects in the region including sourcing & evaluating new development and acquisition opportunities, entitlements, design, capitalization, construction management, leasing, asset management and eventually project disposition efforts. Since joining Lovett Industrial and establishing the Southern California region in 2022, Tyler has grown the regional office to over $600 million in managed costs. Prior to joining Lovett Industrial, Mr. Banton worked at Panattoni Development Company and Hines Interests. Mr. Banton graduated from San Diego State University where he completed his B.S in Finance and was a recipient of the Pension Real Estate Association Scholar award. In 2023, Tyler was a recipient of the Connect CRE 2023 Next Generation Award which recognizes young leaders across the country who have a strong influence on the U.S commercial real estate industry.   Jay Tanjuan

  Jay is director of Development for the Scannell Properties Southern California office, responsible for site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, construction management, marketing, leasing and dispositions for ground-up development projects throughout Southern California. Prior to joining Scannell Properties, Jay was a senior development manager for Panattoni Development Company and was an office tenant rep broker with JLL in Orange County. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Jay served six years in the U.S. Navy in support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom as a supply officer in logistics/supply chain management. Jay is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science with Merit in Economics and was a member of the Division I Varsity Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Teams. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine, Master of Science in Construction Management from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University.   Ken Fields, a partner in Greenberg Glusker’s Real Estate Practice Group, practices all aspects of real estate legal transactions, including buying and selling individual properties and multi-property portfolios, construction and development and leasing of industrial, retail, and office properties, and permanent, construction, mezzanine, and other real estate secured loans. Ken's clients include industrial, retail, and office building owners and tenants, commercial brokerage firms and real estate investors and syndicators.
