His business career started in Chicago with Prudential Real Estate Investors and he joined Sabey Corporation in 1995.

  David Dunn

  David Dunn is COO of H5 Data Centers. Mr. Dunn has nearly 15 years of experience managing significant growth and delivering outsized returns on investment in the Internet infrastructure space. Mr. Dunn most recently served as vice president at the Zayo Group where he was responsible for managing the wavelength and mobile infrastructure business units. Prior to Zayo, Mr. Dunn was senior vice president at CoreSite where he held leadership roles in mergers & acquisitions, leasing, marketing and strategy. Before joining CoreSite, Mr. Dunn held roles at several private equity firms including The Carlyle Group and J.E. Robert Companies. Mr. Dunn earned a B.S. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

  Drew Fassett

  Drew Fassett is an experienced senior executive with more than 20 years of sales, services and executive management experience in the IT industry. As Chief Revenue Officer, Drew oversees the optimization of revenue generation from ByteGrid’s nine data centers. He is driving ByteGrid’s emphasis on managed services expansion and integrate and align all revenue-related functions, including sales, marketing, support, pricing, and revenue management. Previously, Drew was Senior Vice President of Sales for Peak 10 responsible for sales, operations and the financial management of the company’s 10 markets. There he was instrumental in driving significant organic growth by opening five new data centers as well as 400% revenue growth in cloud and managed services. Prior to Peak 10, Drew served as the Brand Segment Executive at IBM focused on strategic outsourcing and managed services for the Small and Medium Business (SMB) marketplace across North America.​

  Melvin Greer

  Melvin Greer is Chief Data Scientist, Americas, Intel Corporation. He is responsible for building Intel’s data science platform through graph analytics, machine learning and cognitive computing to accelerate transformation of data into a strategic asset for Public Sector and commercial enterprises. His systems and software engineering experience has resulted in patented inventions in Cloud Computing, Synthetic Biology and IoT Bio-sensors for edge analytics. He functions as a principal investigator in advanced research studies, including Nanotechnology, Additive Manufacturing and Gamification. He significantly advances the body of knowledge in basic research and critical, highly advanced engineering and scientific disciplines. Mr. Greer is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and U.S. National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine, GUIRR. Melvin has been appointed to Senior Advisor and Fellow at the FBI IT and Data Division. Melvin is charged with acceleration of the FBI mission by supporting appropriate data collection, data analytics, discovery and visualization via advanced data science and AI techniques. Melvin is one of the 2018 LinkedIn Top 10 Voices in data science and analytics. He also received the Washington Exec inaugural Pinnacle Award as the 2018 Artificial Intelligence Executive of the Year. Melvin received the 2017 BDPA Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2012 BEYA Technologist of the Year Award which recognize his outstanding technical contributions that have had a material impact and high value to society as a whole. Melvin Greer has been appointed Fellow of the National Cybersecurity Institute where he assists government, industry, military, and academic sectors meet the challenges in cyber security policy, technology and education. Melvin is Professor, Master of Science in Data Science program at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and Adjunct Faculty, Advanced Academic Program at Johns Hopkins University, where he teaches the Masters of Science course “Practical Applications of Artificial Intelligence”.

  Bob Cowan is the Director of Facilities for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He is responsible for day to day Operations, Maintenance and Repair of the beautiful, highly complex, world class, 1.6 million square foot, Fred Hutchinson Campus. The 15 building Campus, located in Sunny Seattle WA, is dedicated to both Cancer Research and Treatment, has over 4,000 staff and boast of 3 Nobel Prize winners amongst the staff. Bob’s been at the “Hutch” over 18 years and during that time has overseen an expansion program of more than a million square feet, helped the Center win over 20 Energy Awards at both local and national level, weathered more inspections than you can count JCAHO, DOH, FDA, AAALAC, CAP, etc.. And even found time to take a 6 month sabbatical where he took his family on an around the World Adventure covering over 40,000 miles. Bob’s a retired Navy Commander; originally from Grosse Ile, Michigan (a small island between Michigan and Canada) He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and from the University of Florida with a Masters in Civil Engineering. Bob is married to the former Kristina Lindstam of Stockholm, Sweden and has three children Nicklas, 18, Clara, 17 and Hanna 14.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Ileana worked for the Data Center Engineering team for LinkedIn, focusing primarily on energy efficiency and operational cost saving measures. A graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering, for the last 11 years he has led Jacobs teams in the successful delivery of critical data center projects up to $1.2B in construction value and 100 MW in total capacity for our clients. In addition to design, he has provided a variety of services including planning/site selection studies, audits, risk assessments, construction cost estimating, scheduling and commissioning of systems.

  Mark Thompson leads the National Advanced Technology/Mission Critical Group for DPR Construction, one of the country’s top technical builders and data center and telecommunications contractors in the U.S. (ENR 2017). With more than 28 years of experience in the delivery of mission critical, semiconductor, life science and corporate office projects, Thompson works with DPR business units across the country to enhance overall project delivery and quality of service for the company’s Advanced Technology customers, which include industry leaders such as Digital Realty, Microsoft, Facebook and Yahoo. He also serves as Project Executive on several of DPR’s current mission critical facility projects and his extensive technical expertise includes project evaluation, scheduling, project logistics, cost control, subcontractor management and strategic planning. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California State University, Chico and is an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Specialist.
