  Paul Petrovich

  As a former high level athlete and starting with the shirt on his back fresh out of UC Davis, Paul Petrovich is now one of the largest commercial real estate developers in the Western United States. He specializes in the ever-changing and dynamic retail development arena as well as developing large infill mixed-use projects few would tackle. After a 17-year career as the area’s most prolific commercial real estate broker having closed over $7bln of investment sales, land and lease transactions, he made the rare transition to becoming a developer. Over the past 21 years, he has developed more than 70 projects totaling over $1.1 bln and has another $1bln of projects in his immediate pipeline. What is highly unique about Paul, is he developed all his projects with no financial partners of any kind and holds 100% fee ownership of all his assets. He is known for his direct, no non-sense approach to business and his willingness to overcome any barrier placed in his path while never giving up, something his WWII hero and highly decorated father instilled in him.   Jeree Glasser-Hedrick

  Jeree Glasser-Hedrick currently serves as Vice President of Northern California for Jamboree Housing Corporation. In this role, Hedrick-Glasser oversees the expansion of operations in Northern California, supporting Jamboree’s mission to deliver a diversity of high-quality affordable housing and services that transform lives and strengthen communities. She has worked in affordable housing at all levels of government including federal, state and local, in addition to time in the private sector and running her own consulting company over the last 20 years. In 2018 Governor Edmond G. Brown Jr. appointed her to serve as Director of Business Development and Government Affairs at California Housing Finance Agency. In addition to her work at CalHFA, she was appointed by former Treasurer John Chiang to serve as a Deputy Treasurer at the State Treasurer’s Office where she oversaw the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) and the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) in addition to serving as the Treasurer’s representative on the CalPERS and CalSTRS pension boards. While also at the Treasurer’s Office, she served as Executive Director of (CDLAC). Prior to that she was a principal at JLG Consulting and held multiple positions at the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, including program manager, senior housing finance analyst, and management analyst. Glasser-Hedrick was finance analyst at USA Properties Fund, a presidential management fellow at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and public policy and planning analyst at the Southern California Association of Governments. Glasser-Hedrick holds a Master of Arts degree in Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Santa Clara University and is a Phi Beta Kappa Member.

  A Sacramento native, Sara ventured to New York University where she graduated with a BA in Urban Planning. Sara is a Midtown enthusiast and Principal at D&S Development, one of the leading owners, developers and operators in mixed-use and historic rehabilitation in the greater Sacramento Area. She has experience in acquisition, development, leasing and property management of over 110,000 square feet of commercial retail and 265+ multi-family units. With a focus in Sacramento's urban corridor, Sara assists on research and site development for future opportunities in market rate housing.

  John Hodgson

  The Hodgson Company is a Sacramento based real estate development, land use and government advocacy firm which specializes in the entitlement and development of real estate and land use projects throughout Northern California. The Hodgson Company has been involved in some of the area’s most innovative residential and commercial developments, including master planned communities, infill development and mixed-use projects. More recently their focus has been on revitalization and mixed used development in the urban centers of the region. John Hodgson is active in both civic and volunteer organizations. He is a Full Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and past Chair of the ULI Sacramento District Council. He was appointed by Governor Pete Wilson and served six years as the Chair of the Capitol Area Development Authority (CADA). In his capacity as CADA chair he is credited with contributing to the revitalization of midtown Sacramento. John currently serves as a Board member of the Downtown Sacramento Partnership and serves on its Governance Committee. He also serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Midtown Association. He served several terms as Chair of the Sacramento Council of the North State Building Industry Association and currently serves as Chair of its Urban Infill Group focused on Sacramento downtown and midtown mixed-use development. John is a member of the State Bar of California. He is a graduate of UC Davis and King Hall (UC Davis School of Law).   Ron Brown is the President and CEO of Brown Construction, Inc. one of the Sacramento area's largest general contracting firms building multifamily and commercial projects for over 60 years. Brown Construction has over 2.7 million square feet currently under construction across 12 active multi-unit housing projects in the Sacramento area including in Midtown, Downtown, The Railyards, Roseville, Natomas, South Sacramento, and Elk Grove. Brown is locally-founded and locally-owned here in Sacramento for over 60 years. Ron established a Build It Forward program to build select community-serving projects at no profit. Beneficiaries include Yolo Food Bank, Sacramento Zoo, Fairytale Town, River Oak Center for Children, the City of West Sacramento, Davis High School, and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. Ron is currently on the boards of directors for Region Business, the Sutter Davis Hospital Foundation, the Sacramento Host Committee, and Sacramento Construction Management Education Foundation (SCMEF) at Sacramento State. Ron recently served on the boards of WellSpace Health (13 years), Sacramento State University Alumni Association (8 years), and the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange (3 years).   Barry Broome

  Barry Broome serves as the first President and CEO of the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. The organization is the catalyst for innovative growth strategies in the Capital Region of California. Barry is responsible for leading community-driven efforts to retain, attract, grow, and scale new businesses; develop advanced industries; and guide new job-creation strategies throughout a six-county region. In his role, he has established the first-ever public/private partnership economic development organization in the State of California; the organization comprises 37 CEO’s and 19 communities in the Greater Sacramento region. Previously, Barry was the President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) where he delivered more than 50,000 jobs and 250 company locates into the Phoenix Region. Under his leadership, for six out of the ten years, GPEC was named one of the top economic organizations in North America by Site Selection Magazine. In 2013 he was also named Arizona Economic Developer of the Year, Arizona Real Estate Executive of the Year, and received the Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce award. Prior to Arizona, Barry was the CEO of Southwest Michigan First (SMF), where he built an organization from scratch that was later listed in the Top 20 companies in North America by Site Selection Magazine. In 2006, SMF was named one of the fast 50 companies in Inc. Magazine, the first nonprofit to have that honor. Barry built and co-developed venture funds, angel networks, and 31 new ventures – primarily in the life science space in the Kalamazoo region. Barry was named Michigan Economic Developer of the Year in 2001. Preceding Michigan, Barry led the economic development in Toledo, Ohio, where he completed the largest industrial deal in the history of the United States called Project Jeep; which was built on 450 acres of brownfields in the North Central Toledo area. Barry was also the keynote speaker at Arizona State University’s 2009 graduation and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Chicago, Notre Dame, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Kalamazoo College, and Western Michigan University.

  Denton Kelley

  Denton Kelley is a Managing Principal of LDK Ventures, LLC, an entity formed with his father, Larry Kelley, with a focus on value-add real estate acquisition and development opportunities in the Western Region of the US. Mr. Kelley is responsible for identifying and executing new real estate investment opportunities. Mr. Kelley is also responsible for sourcing equity capital requirements for all LDK acquisition and development projects. Mr. Kelley is currently an owner in McClellan Business Park. Prior to joining LDK Ventures, LLC, Mr. Kelley worked as an equity research analyst at Bessent Capital (a global macro hedge fund in New York) covering financials, real estate, health care and other diversified industry sectors. Mr. Kelley worked directly with Scott Bessent, the current CIO of Soros Fund Management. Mr. Kelly spent 3 years at Robertson Stephens in the Investment Banking Division where was promoted to Associate from Analyst. The first year was dedicated to the real estate sector and he then spent the next two years banking the semiconductor and technology industries working on multiple IPO's, follow-on offerings and various other corporate finance deals. Prior to Robertson, he worked for Prentiss Properties, LLC. (an office REIT based in Dallas, TX) as an acquisition and development analyst and was also partly responsible for the asset management of the 2 million square feet office/industrial portfolio in the Southwestern US. Mr. Kelley received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was a scholarship athlete during his collegiate tenure on the track and field team.

  Ethan Conrad began his commercial real estate career in 1989 when he became an industrial real estate broker. He quickly established himself as a trusted name in the industry, which led to his continued success and a variety of awards acknowledging his accomplishments. Once Ethan became adept at leasing and selling commercial properties, it was only a matter of time before he became a successful owner and operator of commercial real estate. In 1995, Ethan started by targeting industrial properties. By 2007, Ethan Conrad Properties owned over 35 commercial properties in the Greater Sacramento Area. Ethan’s brokerage experience lent him a keen eye for buying lower cost properties with high vacancies and/or other problems in which the budding real estate mogul saw potential opportunity.
