  Mr. Helmig oversees Monday Properties’ operations, project developments and existing portfolio. With more than two decades of experience in commercial and residential real estate, Mr. Helmig brings unprecedented leasing, development and project management experience to Monday. He has become widely recognized as an industry leader throughout the greater Washington D.C. market, having been responsible for leading over three million square-feet of leasing activities along with the capitalization of more than $2 billion of assets. Among his most recent accomplishments, Mr. Helmig facilitated a historic deal announcing that Nestlé would become the anchor tenant at 1812 North Moore Street, resulting in the company moving its U.S. headquarters from California to Rosslyn, VA. Mr. Helmig also oversaw the successful refinancing of Monday Properties’ Rosslyn portfolio, along with the significant renewal and expansion of the firm’s 343,000 square foot lease with the U.S. State Department. Additionally, Mr. Helmig managed the acquisition of the 300,000 square foot Beauregard Office Park in Alexandria, VA, led the development of 1812 North Moore Street, a 580,000 square foot LEED Platinum trophy office tower, and the entitlement of 1400 Key and 1401 Wilson Boulevard, a 900,000 square foot mixed-use project. To date, under Mr. Helmig’s leadership, Monday Properties has transacted on over 1.1 million square feet of leasing activity over the past 18 months in Rosslyn. Prior to joining Monday Properties, Mr. Helmig was a partner at Westfield Realty, Inc., where he led lease and capital market transactions totaling approximately $3 billion.  During his time at the firm, he led a number of notable transactions including a 220,000 square-foot lease for 2800 and 2900 Crystal City Drive with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  In addition, he was responsible for lease transactions with many major federal agencies and high-profile companies such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon Company, and Washington, D.C. television station ABC-WJLA.  Mr. Helmig currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Rosslyn Business Improvement District and previously served on the Board of Directors for NAIOP’s Northern Virginia chapter. He is a graduate of American University.

  Mary-Claire Burick is a dynamic and strategic leader whose focus is on building engagement and leading change. As President of the Rosslyn Business Improvement District, she is responsible for leading daily operations and creating programs that define, enhance and continually improve Rosslyn for those who work, live, visit and do business there. Her leadership in the area of business engagement has been recognized within the region, and has focused on building relationships and retaining businesses in Rosslyn, as well as working with the real estate community, property owners and Arlington County to welcome new businesses to Rosslyn. Previously, Mary-Claire was President of MC Strategy, a consulting firm helping leaders build healthy and effective organizations. Prior, she was Vice President of Operations for Allbritton Communications, managing ABC-7, NewsChannel 8 and POLITICO. Earlier in her career, she helped launch the Fox NewsChannel, where she served as Operations Manager. She was named Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business and has a certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership from Georgetown University and a BA in Communications from University of Delaware.

By stitching together the most progressive ideas from a number of practice areas, she develops inventive and effective solutions for a range of clients and project types. Jill has also served as a lecturer at Virginia Tech, a visiting critic at Marymount University and a speaker on the topic of facilitating creative connections in the workplace. Ked advises clients on the legislative, administrative, and regulatory issues that impact real estate development projects, including land use planning, zoning, subdivision, and permitting issues.   Nina Weissberg is CEO of Weissberg Corp., a 55-year-old commercial real estate firm, and also a founding board member of the Weissberg Foundation. Ms. Weissberg joined the company in 1994, became CEO in 2006. At the Foundation, her concerns focus on the empowerment of women through regulation and Impact Investment to promote social rights, economic access and physical security. She is presently a Trustee of Beloit College (2010 – present), a member of the Beloit Weissberg Chair Council on Human Rights, a Trustee of New York University (2012-present).   John Kusturiss

  Mr. Kusturiss is the Senior Vice President, Development and Construction. He oversees development and construction activities for the firm including ground-up development. With 15 years of real estate experience he has been responsible for the due diligence, acquisition entitlement, design management, construction management, and leasing efforts for over 1.5 million square feet of new product. Previously, Mr. Kusturiss worked at Equity Residential on the development team where he managed development and construction activities for six Class-A apartment projects totaling over 1,500 units and 50,000 square feet of retail. Prior to that, Mr. Kusturiss worked for Clark Construction coordinating the design and construction of new multifamily buildings in the DC metropolitan area. Mr. Kusturiss serves on the Board of Directors of NAIOP and as the Co-chair of the Arlington County Government subcommittee. Additionally, he serves on the Rosslyn BID Urban Design Committee and is a 2016 Leadership Center for Excellence 40 Under 40 Honoree. He received his BS in Engineering Technology from the University of Delaware and his MBA from the George Washington University.

  Jim has extensive experience in the transportation demand management industry and developing partnerships throughout the DC region. For 15 years he served as executive director of the Dulles Area Transportation Association (DATA). During his tenure, DATA greatly expanded the depth and breadth of its commuter services and its collaboration with local and state government and the business community. Jim was integral to the development of DATA’s “Live More Commute Less” initiative that encourages better commuting choices by focusing on what commuters can gain by ridesharing, taking transit, teleworking, biking or walking. Jim is the current president of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Association of Commuter Transportation, which includes members throughout the Greater Washington Region. His prior work experience includes stints as the director of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and executive director of Fairfax County Public Schools’ Foundation for Applied Technical Education.

  As senior vice president and director of commercial services for United Bank, Jon is responsible for driving the development of commercially-focused opportunities throughout the Bank’s footprint. He leads a team focused on cultivating new relationships and implementing treasury services in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Jon joined United Bank following the 2016 acquisition of Bank of Georgetown, where he served as director of business development. In this role, he guided the expansion of Bank of Georgetown’s commercial client base throughout the Washington metropolitan market, with an emphasis on deposit growth. Jon joined Bank of Georgetown at its founding in 2005, focusing on the development of commercial loan and deposit relationships. He later served as a commercial lending officer, providing working capital and term financing to commercial real estate investors and operating companies. Jon began his banking career at BB&T (formerly First Virginia Bank in Falls Church, Va.), completing the Management Training Program and serving as the financial center manager for BB&T’s Georgetown branch. Jon is active in several organizations throughout the Washington metropolitan area. In 2014, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors appointed him to the Fairfax County Industrial Development Authority. He serves on the board of directors and the executive committee for Alternative House, a Vienna-based refuge for abused and homeless children in Northern Virginia. For 10 years, he served on the Georgetown Business Association’s board of directors and in 2008, received its Business Person of the Year award. Jon graduated from James Madison University in 2001 with a BBA in business marketing. In 2013, he received a Stonier Diploma and Wharton Leadership Certificate from ABA Stonier Graduate School, an executive management school for the financial services industry in partnership with The Wharton School. Jon lives in Vienna with his wife, Allyson, and three daughters.
