  Peter is the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for all of the operations of the Kushner Companies. Prior to joining he was the Chief Executive Officer of beam Living (a Blackstone Portfolio Company), where he launched Blackstone’s first ever multifamily operating platform that today supports over 15,000 apartments. Prior to beam Living Peter was the Chief Operating Officer for Taconic Investment Partners where his responsibilities included oversight of commercial and residential asset management, operations, construction, and development projects. . Prior to joining Taconic in 2008, he was the regional vice president for the New York-New Jersey metro region at Home Properties, overseeing the development and management of a 44-property, 8,500-unit portfolio valued at more than $1 billion. From 2003 to 2006, he was the director of investments for Midwest and East Coast assets at AvalonBay Communities. Peter began his career in 1996 at Tishman Speyer Properties as a property accountant, before being promoted to senior property manager. During his tenure at Tishman Speyer, he was responsible for the redevelopment of 666 5th Avenue as well as various other commercial redevelopment projects throughout the United States. Peter earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the John Wiley School of Business at the State University of New York, Geneseo.

  Jonathan Gertman

  Jonathan Gertman joined The NRP Group in 2009 as an Assistant Developer and now serves as Senior Vice President of Development for the New York City office. His primary responsibilities include originating and overseeing both market rate and affordable development efforts in New York, , New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. During his previous role in the San Antonio office, he was involved with the origination of 900 units of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects. Between his two positions at NRP, Gertman worked for Forest City Realty Trust in New York. He was responsible for originating and managing multifamily and mixed-use projects in the greater tri-state area. During his tenure, he worked on the development of 980 units of luxury multifamily housing and ancillary retail. Gertman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies with a minor in real estate finance from The Wharton School. He is a member of the board of Neighbors Together, a Brooklyn based food bank. He is also a Trustee of Congregation Beth Elohim of Brooklyn. He lives with his wife in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn and enjoys walking their adopted schnauzer-terrier, Babka.

  Jose Cruz

  Jose is a senior managing director and co-office head in the New Jersey office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joins JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and is a member of the firm’s leadership committee. Jose specializes in investment advisory throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut and also oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s New Jersey office. During the course of his more than 25-year commercial real estate career, he’s been involved in more than $62 billion of office, industrial, retail, multifamily and land sales. Jose started at HFF in March 2010. Before that, he was the executive director of Cushman & Wakefield’s New York area investment sales group where he spent more than 17 years. He began his real estate career as a real estate analyst at PaineWebber, UBS, Inc.

  Christopher J. Otteau serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of 3P Equity Capital. Christopher has been engaged in real estate valuation, consultation and advisory for almost 20 years and is a Principal of Otteau Group, the leading real estate valuation and consulting firm in the tristate area. Christopher currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University in Real Estate & Analysis and Real Estate Development.   Russell Tepper serves as Mill Creek Residential’s Senior Managing Director for development activities in the Northeast region including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. His duties include leading this regional division of Mill Creek for both ground-up and adaptive reuse developments, while furthering its objective to create tailored residential communities that cater to surrounding neighborhoods’ needs. Prior to joining Mill Creek in 2014, Mr. Tepper was Vice President of Development at Matrix Development Group, where he managed the company’s urban redevelopment portfolio, seeking out new acquisitions of residential and mixed-use properties throughout New Jersey and suburban Philadelphia. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the entitlement, development and construction of over 4,500 multifamily apartment homes and 5 million SF of commercial space. Mr. Tepper is licensed in the State of New Jersey and earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and international business from the University of Delaware.

  Bryan Oos

  Bryan Oos is responsible for the acquisition of apartment development sites in the New York, Washington D.C. and Miami metropolitan areas. Bryan has been responsible for various aspects of the land acquisition, underwriting and approvals for 10 projects built or in the pipeline in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia, totaling over 4,300 units. Prior to joining Toll Brothers Apartment Living in 2011, Bryan was a Vice President of Development at Michaels Development Company, where he worked on the redevelopment of public housing into mixed-income communities. Prior to Michaels, he was a Director of Development at Forest City Residential, where he worked on mixed-use redevelopment projects in the New York and Boston metropolitan areas with a focus on public and private financing structures. Bryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

  Kevin is the senior director of vertical markets, leading targeted business development initiatives along with commercial contractor development and commercial business strategy for Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS). Since joining the company in 2014, Kevin has held a number of product and marketing leadership positions, most recently serving as the director of commercial product planning.   David Wolfe

  Mr. Wolfe is the Managing Partner in the Property Tax Department at Skoloff & Wolfe, PC, where he focuses his practice on representing taxpayers in significant real estate tax appeals and property tax related matters. He has extensive experience in all types of property tax appeals, including hotel, multi-family, retail, office, and industrial properties. Mr. Wolfe frequently counsels clients on the property tax implications of the development, acquisition, and disposition of significant assets. He also counsels clients with respect to property tax exemptions and PILOT agreements. Mr. Wolfe serves on the Board of the National Association of Property Tax Attorneys (NAPTA) and as the Co-Chair of the Real Property Tax Practice Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Wolfe has been featured or quoted in a wide variety of local and national publications, including Forbes.com, GlobeSt.com, Marketwatch.com, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Law.com, Law360.com, The New York Law Journal, and Commerce Magazine. Mr. Wolfe has a track record of obtaining significant assessment reductions on behalf of his clients. Mr. Wolfe began his career as an associate at the law firm of Davis Polk and Wardwell in New York. While at Davis Polk, he focused his practice on regulatory investigations, securities litigation and banking disputes. Mr. Wolfe is a member of the American Bar Association House of Delegates and is the Co-Chair of the ABA’s Diversity & Inclusion 360 Presidential Commission. As a young lawyer, Mr. Wolfe served as the Chair of the ABA Young Lawyers Division, the ABA’s largest entity with more than 130,000 members.
