  In his role at Lion Real Estate Group, Jeff sources transactions and manages the firm’s investment portfolio alongside co-founder and partner Mory Barak. Jeff plays a significant role in raising investment capital with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. Lion has over 450 investment partners that encompass over $705 million of equity investments and commitments since inception. Jeff brings 25 years of real estate experience to Lion having previously worked at top brokerage firms CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield representing tenants, investors, and landlords in commercial real estate transactions. Most recently Jeff served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of EPMI and Bayside Communities, which owns 3,097 units and manages an additional 3,500 units on the West Coast. Jeff is a board member of the Folsom Institute and a graduate of Southern Methodist University.

  Jamie Shanks

  James Shanks joined Carter-Haston in 2007 and oversees the company’s acquisition and due diligence processes. He also manages all mortgage debt placement and participates in corporate finance activities, equity structures, investor relations and reporting and regulatory compliance. He is a member of the company’s Investment Committee. Shanks is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and serves on the Board of Directors of the Historic Fourth Ward Park Conservancy in Atlanta, Georgia. He’s also an active member of the Urban Land Institute and a graduate from its Center for Leadership program. Shanks earned an MBA from Belmont University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia.

  Jeremy has over 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience. Jeremy expanded the Bellwether Brand to Memphis in 2015 and is currently in the process of opening the new Nashville office for Bellwether. Jeremy is responsible for originating commercial real estate loans across the US. Prior joining to Bellwether Enterprise, Jeremy held positions with First Tennessee Bank, CBRE Capital Markets and National Bank of Commerce where he was consistently recognized as a top performer. Since 2000, Jeremy has originated in excess of $2.5 Billion in mortgage loans, joint venture financing and equity investments for office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and multifamily properties nationwide. Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Tennessee and received an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of Memphis.

  Travis Waldrop

  Travis Waldrop serves as Vice President, Real Estate for Primrose Schools. In his role, Travis provides executive leadership of the site acquisition process – from location selection to the execution of purchase and sale agreements. He first joined Primrose as Manager, Site Acquisition in November 2017 and, following his success in that role, was promoted to Vice President, Real Estate. Travis possesses nearly two decades of experience in commercial real estate, including specializing in interim development and permanent financing, as well as site selection. In his most recent role before joining Primrose, he assisted companies in both the acquisition and disposition of real estate as Vice President at Carr Development, Inc. Travis holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin as well as the CCIM designation. With his extensive background and vast network in the real estate industry, Travis is charged with accelerating growth and driving efficiencies through enhancements to the real estate process.   Katherine Mosley

  Katherine Mosley oversees all aspects of development, including entitlements, design, permitting, capital structuring and execution for all new developments. As a Principal of Development, Katherine has been involved with $1 billion of capital transactions spread across targeted southeastern markets including Atlanta, Nashville, Jacksonville, Charlotte and Raleigh. Katherine began her career with TriBridge directly out of college. In her 13 years at TriBridge, her career has spanned acquisitions, market research, capital projects and development. During her early years with the company she focused on acquisitions and market repositioning through value-add improvements and market knowledge. This foundation of market knowledge laid the framework for many successful developments. Her broad portfolio includes the zoning, closing, and development of 20 acres adjacent to Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina; the entitlement, closing, development and sale of One305 Central in Charlotte, North Carolina’s vibrant and eclectic Plaza Midwood neighborhood; and the entitlement, closing, and development of The Griff, a river-side, mixed use community in Nashville’s Germantown market. Katherine graduated magna cum laude from Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University with a degree in Business Administration specializing in Real Estate. While Katherine is passionate about development, her favorite role is mom to her mini-me daughter.

  Josh Landry joined Buckingham Companies in 2018 as Executive Vice President, overseeing all Development and Construction activities of the company. Josh has been engaged in Multifamily Real Estate for more than 20 years touching over 6,500 apartment units and 200,000 SF of Mixed-Use Retail at a total capitalization of $1.7B. As a Houston, Texas native, Josh was most recently with Gables Residential where he was responsible for all development activities in the Houston and Denver submarkets. Throughout his career Josh has primarily focused on dense, urban, multifamily and mixed-use projects in core markets. Prior to Gables Residential. Josh started his career with Trammel Crow Residential as a leasing agent, assistant manager and then property manager working on several lease-ups. While in Dallas, Texas Josh received his Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from the University of Dallas.   Nelson Crowe

  Endeavor Principal Nelson Crowe is responsible for leading the company’s multifamily acquisition and development team, overseeing site selection, entitlements, design, consultant coordination, construction, project capitalization and asset management. Currently, Nelson is working on the development of multifamily and mixed-use projects in Austin, Nashville, Dallas Fort Worth, Salt Lake City and Denver totaling 13,000 units and nearly $3 billion in total capitalization. Prior to joining Endeavor in 2016, Nelson spent eight years at Forestar Group, where he served as Vice President of Multifamily. In 2010, he was a founding member of the organization’s multifamily group, which developed and/or managed more than 4,000 units in Nashville, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Charlotte and Houston, with a total capitalization of $600 million. Nelson previously worked for Crow Holdings, a private equity firm that focuses on direct real estate investment through equity funds for the Trammell Crow family and its capital partners. While there, he worked on the capital placement of an $850 million equity fund.   Matt Robinson has 17 years of experience in the real estate industry and pursues multi-family residential, mixed-use acquisition and development opportunities for MRP Realty. Since joining the firm in 2007, Matt has overseen the entitlement, development, and repositioning of over 3.2 million square feet including over 1,100 units. In his seven years at TCC prior to joining MRP, Matt developed a total of 1.5 million square feet comprising 924 residential units and 542,000 square feet of retail and commercial space totaling over $654 million. Before joining TCC, he was an architect with Dimella Shaffer Associates in Boston, Massachusetts focused primarily on age-restricted residential and hotel projects. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and received his MSRED from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

  Amy Heskett

  Amy started her career in the multi family industry with Post Properties in 1995; working her way up from Leasing Consultant to Community Manager. She worked on several communities throughout the Atlanta area and achieved Manager of the Year in 1998. In 2004 she joined United Residential Properties, a privately held firm located in Macon, GA. While with United Residential, Amy oversaw a portfolio of 2,200 Class A communities throughout the Southeast. Amy then joined First Communities in 2008 and was a part of the Century Portfolio working exclusively with Centennial Investment Group as a Senior Property Manager and Area Manager. The focus was on value-add opportunities throughout the Atlanta market. In 2015 she joined Greystar as a Regional Manager and has worked with both third- party clients and the Greystar Investment Group. Amy was awarded Regional Manager of the Year in 2016 and 2018. She was a part of lease ups with the Overture brand in 2017. In 2018 she was promoted to Sr Regional Manager and moved to exclusively work on the Greystar Investment Group communities with a focus on value add. In May of 2019 Amy and her family relocated to Nashville and she is currently the Director of Real Estate with Greystar and oversees a portfolio of 24 communities and just under 7,000 units. The portfolio will nearly double in size with the pre-development opportunities over the next two years. She has a BBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Georgia Southern University.

  Brad is the CEO and Founding Principal of Shapiro & Company Architects, a residential architecture firm with offices in Memphis, Nashville and Dallas. Shapiro & Company is dedicated to partnering with developers to deliver timely and profitable projects.
