  Tim is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Birdsong Capital Partners, a commercial real estate investment firm. Established in 2025, with offices in Nashville and Charlotte, Birdsong specializes in small-bay and shallow-bay acquisitions and development across the Southeast. Over his 15 years in real estate, Tim has been involved in over $2.2 billion in transactions. Before forming Birdsong, Tim was a Partner at WPT Capital Advisors, where he managed investment activity across the East Region and sourced over $885 million in acquisitions and development. Prior to WPT, he led acquisitions and development at Indus Realty Trust in New York City, doubling the company’s portfolio during his tenure and expanding it into several new Southeast markets. He began his career on the Transactions team at PGIM Real Estate. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and an M.B.A. from the Haslam College of Business at The University of Tennessee. He lives in Brentwood, TN with his wife Jaclyn and their three children.

  Whitfield Hamilton Jr

  Whitfield Hamilton Jr. serves as Partner for Hamilton Development. He is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, entitling, and executing industrial ground-up development projects across Tennessee and Alabama and is currently overseeing 5.1 million square feet of active development. Prior to joining Hamilton Development, Whitfield served as a lead sales producer and sales leader at two start-ups. Specifically, he led growth and sales as the Vice President at Maverick, a construction-tech company based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Prior to that, he was the top producer at Route Consultant, a logistics start-up in Nashville, TN. Whitfield started his career at Deloitte Consulting in the Strategy & Operations group. He completed 13 projects over 5 years with a focus on Supply Chain Analytics.

  Andrew Mazey

  Andrew Mazey serves as Senior Vice President at Brennan Investment Group and is responsible for the acquisition, development and asset management of industrial properties in Atlanta and Nashville. Prior to joining Brennan Investment Group, Andrew was Director of Real Estate Development for Al. Neyer where he led the ground-up development of over 4 million square feet of industrial real estate in Nashville and Raleigh. Prior to Al. Neyer, Andrew was Engineering Project Manager at Under Armour where he led the design and development of UA’s new build-to-suit distribution centers in Nashville, Baltimore, Korea, and China. Prior to Under Armour, Andrew led similar large warehouse build-to-suit development projects at the management consulting firm Kurt Salmon (now Accenture) in New York City. Andrew started his career as an equity research analyst at a hedge fund in New York City. Andrew graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University, where he earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Financial Economics and Human and Organizational Development. Andrew lives in Nashville and is an active member of NAIOP’s Nashville chapter.

  Ben Romer

  Ben Romer is an Investment Director at Prologis, where he leads industrial development and acquisitions across the firm’s 18.5 million square foot Nashville-area portfolio. Prior to joining Prologis, Ben was an Assistant Vice President at Voya Investment Management in Atlanta, where he originated and structured commercial real estate debt and preferred equity investments across major U.S. markets. He holds a degree in Real Estate and Finance from Florida State University and is active in NAIOP. Outside of work, Ben is deeply engaged in the Nashville community through his volunteer work with Big Brothers of Middle Tennessee and The Phoenix Club of Nashville.

  I’ve been working with TI Builders since my Father, Mike, first told me “I need help!”. I was mostly occupied with algebra and video games, but in time I grew to love the complexity and flexibility of working for a family owned small business. There is not just room to grow, but frequent impetus to grow. ​Most of my work is on project management, but I also manage the administrative odds and ends of the business. We run lean and stay nimble. We take ownership and allow decisions to be made on the ground. When chaos strikes, we organize and seek creative solutions rather than placing blame.   Travis Covington serves as President of Griffin Partners Development, where he oversees the firm’s development team. He is directly responsible for the company’s continued expansion into industrial development within Griffin Partners target markets. Previously, Travis was Vice President of Development for the Houston office of Crow Holdings Industrial. While at Crow Holdings, he was responsible for site selection, pre-development, financial modeling, capitalization, construction, leasing and asset management/disposition across the Houston metro. He has nearly a decade of commercial real estate experience and has been involved in the development and capitalization of over 10.5 million square feet of industrial space. Travis received his B.S. degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and his M.B.A degree from Rice University. He is a member of NAIOP and sits on the Houston Chapter’s Development and Construction Committee. He and his wife, Sarah, have two daughters. Travis enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, cooking, fishing, and playing golf.

  Chris Segrest

  Chris Segrest is the Regional Senior Vice President for Dalfen Industrial’s Southeast region, overseeing Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee. He is responsible for the acquisitions, development, capital deployment strategies, and oversees the operational aspects in this region. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Chris held key positions at EastGroup Properties (NYSE: EGP), including Managing Director of Florida. He also served as an Assistant Controller, Senior Asset Manager and VP of Acquisitions and Development. At EGP, he managed a 15 million square foot portfolio in Florida and facilitated acquisitions over $3 billion in the Southeast region. Chris holds a Bachelors and Master of Accountancy from the University of Missisippi. Chris is also actively involved in the real estate community, serving on the Advisory Board for the University of Florida’s Master of Science in Real Estate program and as a founding member of Florida Industrial Product Council for ULI.

  Bert Chollet is a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Nashville office and a member of the Construction Group.
