  Shep is responsible for leading East End’s West Coast operations and its production studio platform. In his role as Managing Partner, he sources value-add office and residential opportunities in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Seattle markets, as well as studio opportunities throughout North America and Europe.Before joining East End, Shep was a Senior Vice President at KBS where he oversaw and directed the origination, underwriting financing and closing activities for acquisitions and joint venture opportunities. Prior to KBS, he spent seven years as Managing Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Savanna, where he oversaw a team of asset managers and ran the daily operations for a 3 million square foot portfolio. In 1995, Shep co-founded Cosi, Inc. and developed the chain into a nationally recognized brand with over 100 restaurants in 11 states. His primary responsibility was overseeing real estate development and leasing for the business. After taking the brand public in 2002, Shep left the company to focus on development projects in New York City. He graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York

  Zach Sokoloff

  Zach joined Hackman Capital Partners in 2018 and serves as Asset Manager of the firm’s Television City Studios and Radford Studio Center assets. In his role, Zach leads the effort to entitle and redevelop these properties, including selecting and managing project consultants, design and site planning, developing project budgets, as well as securing future tenancy and navigating capital markets transactions. Zach has also been integral to launching and growing the firm’s Changing Lenses initiative, which seeks to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in the entertainment industry, by providing historically underrepresented communities with job training opportunities in below-the-line production roles.   Stan Washington, president & CEO of Pantheon Business Consulting LLC – is the developer and project executive for overall property management, pre-development, programming, development and construction. He is a business leader and entrepreneur who has been a member of the financial services community for more than 30 years. As the former chairman of LA INC. (The LA Conventions & Visitors Bureau), under his leadership the first U.S. Office of Tourism in China by the City of LA along with the launch of the “Dine LA” restaurant program. As former chairman of LASEC (LA Sports & Entertainment Commission), he helped to further establish the commission as a key force in the city’s selection of key events, including the Super Bowl, NBA All-Star, Grammy’s and other major events and conventions.   Heath May AIA is Principal and Director of HKS LINE (Laboratory for INtensive Exploration.)  His work and research with LINE include data-driven design optimization, simulation, and digital design, fabrication and delivery. Heath has taught advanced graduate design studio as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Texas Arlington, CAPPA, where student work from his Watershed Urbanism data visualization studio is now on display at the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale. Contributing to books and publications on topics ranging from interdisciplinary collaboration, computational methodologies, and digital practice, Heath is also an author of a patented method for digital stamping and sealing of architectural documents. Recent lectures include the Design Futures Council of Design Intelligence, IBPSA (International Building Performance Simulation Association), and Facades+. Recent projects featuring the design and/or collaboration of LINE include SoFi Stadium, Pacific Plaza Pavilion, Alcon- Novartis Café, FBI Innovation Center at Redstone, and CMNTY Culture Campus.   Sonnet currently serves as Vice President and General Manager for Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA), a national real estate advisory firm specializing in Development Management, Project Management, Investor Representation and Program Management services. She has spent the bulk of her 30-plus year career as an architect, developer, business strategist and planner working for both national and international firms. As general manager, Sonnet oversees projects across multiple sectors, including high-rise and multifamily residential, entertainment, healthcare, educational, and commercial. Prior to joining PMA, Sonnet was Vice President, Design and Construction at NBC Universal, where she was responsible for developing and leading design, construction and related capital planning services for NBCUniversal and DreamWork’s West Coast Studio Operations. In this role, she managed the planning and execution of construction projects at the iconic 400 + acre Universal Lot in Studio City. She was honored in 2016 and 2017 by Bisnow as one of “Los Angeles’ Power Women.” In the past year, Sonnet has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as part of their Women’s Leadership Series, the 2020 class of Thriving in Their 40s, and as a Women of Influence in Construction and Design.   Carl Muhlstein International Director, is based in JLL’s Downtown Los Angeles office. Active in Los Angeles commercial real estate for more than 30 years, Carl’s background includes all forms of tenant, landlord, and investment related assignments with a special emphasis on the entertainment industry, creative office and development. Carl has served in senior positions with Cushman & Wakefield, Cushman Realty Corporation, Insignia/ESG Capital Advisors and Tishman Speyer Properties. A graduate of Cal State Northridge, Carl is a Los Angeles native. Local activities and memberships include board and advisory roles for five Mayoral administrations, ULI, and LACRA. He served as a public board member of the American Institute of Architects of Greater Los Angeles and chair of the BOMA Political Action Committee. He chaired the Citizen Oversight Committee for the Los Angeles Prop F Fire Facilities Bond advising on 18 fire stations, a regional training facility and an Air Ops facility to serve both the fire and police departments. He also volunteered for Public Counsel and Planned Parenthood to secure regional headquarters and as an adviser to AIA’s effort to develop a Center for Architecture in Los Angeles. Carl is a past recipient of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Caliber Award for Broker of the Year, a recipient of the JLL Broker Culture Award, and a CoStar Power Broker. Carl was JLL’s top producer in Southern California in 2014, 2018 and 2019 besides Top Ten since joining JLL. In 2016, Carl was named one of the 35 Power Players of CRE Tech by Capstak Commercial Real Estate Community. Carl is a frequent contributor on several panels including RICS, CoreNet, AIA, AIR, USC, ULI, LACRA, NAIOP, and the Appraisal Institute.   Keith Hanadel is a principal at HLW and leads the firm’s Media & Entertainment practice. He joined HLW in 2000, utilizing his previous experience working with television production and post-production companies to design broadcast and media facilities.   Founded in a bungalow on the back lot of the Siren Studios campus in Hollywood, Relativity Architects’ first major project was Siren’s “Cube,” a 40-foot-tall space regarded as the tallest "poured-in-place" concrete walled building on the West coast. During the ensuing decade, RA Founder and Principal, Tima Bell, Assoc. AIA, has led Relativity’s studio design and development division. With a show-business family background, Tima understands studios’ physical needs as well as the refined amenities facility managers need to maximize bookings.
