Emilio joined Patron in October 2019 as Chief Sustainability Officer and is responsible for the implementation of Patron’s sustainability policies across its projects throughout Europe. Alongside this, his role as a Development Director sees him focus on projects in Spain, France, Portugal and Italy. Prior to joining Patron, Emilio was responsible for the expansion of Generator Hostels, including the development of projects in Barcelona, Rome, Madrid, Miami and Washington DC, and oversaw the implementation of the business’s sustainability strategy across these assets. Emilio previously gained experience at Saco Property Group, Urbaser, EC Harris, World Bank and Ibinser/Deerns, where he managed projects for clients including Blackstone, Hard Rock, Anytime Fitness and Cisco Systems. Emilio has a civil engineering degree from Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya and has been a professor at the University in Barcelona, as well as a guest lecturer at the University of Milan.

Rob is the lead on the firm’s Responsible Investment Strategy. He joined in 2004 and previously worked in both the private and public sectors. Since 2010 he has overseen Delancey’s commitments to meet all regulatory, compliance and best practice requirements, and from 2018 implemented the wider integration of sustainability and environmental initiatives into the business. Rob’s background is in asset management, and he has experience of large-scale mixed-use developments and complex urban regeneration projects that involve a diverse range of activities and initiatives extending beyond real estate.

Juliana is Head of Portfolio Management at UPP, the UK’s leading provider of on-campus student accommodation. She has a background in development finance, where she led the design of business models and financial instruments to drive decarbonisation in the transport sector through public–private partnerships. She now brings that strategic lens to the built environment, focusing on scalable solutions that align sustainability goals with long-term financial performance.

Ammar Fahad is a seasoned Asset and Portfolio Management expert with over 8 years of experience driving performance across the US, EU, and LatAm markets. At Macquarie, he implemented advanced strategies to optimize portfolio returns. At GLL, he managed high-value assets and led major capex initiatives. Since 2024, Ammar has been fueling international growth at Alasco, leveraging his real estate acumen to shape and strengthen the product offering.
