  Nolan Marshall

  A native New Orleanian, Nolan received a Presidential scholarship and graduated from the School of Business and Industry at Florida A&M University. Nolan also received the Fritz Wagner prize for academic achievement and community service in Graduate Urban Studies at the University of New Orleans. Prior to joining Uptown Dallas, Inc., Nolan worked as the Director of Public Affairs and Policy at the Downtown Development District in New Orleans, Louisiana and served as the Chair of the New Orleans City Planning Commission. Nolan has previously worked at Tulane University’s Cowen Institute for Public Education Initiatives as the Director of Policy and Advocacy and served as the Associate Director of Common Good at Loyola University. Nolan has led two for profit companies: Good Citizen, a consulting firm specializing in political, outreach, and engagement campaigns, and NAM-IT, a promotional and printable products company. Nolan has been an active civic leader serving as the president of the Young Leadership Council, president of the board at Einstein Charter School, and serving on the board of the Audubon Nature Institute, New Orleans City Park Commission, Human Relations Commission, Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans Resource Council, New Orleans Crime Coalition, Court Watch NOLA, Son of a Saint, Evacuteer, International High School of New Orleans, and the New Orleans BioDistrict.   Neal Sleeper

  Neal Sleeper is President of Cityplace Company, the developer of a 130-acre mixed-use project in Uptown Dallas. Since forming the company in 1991, Mr. Sleeper has overseen the development of over 4,000 residential units and 640,000 square feet of retail space, 250,000 square feet of office, and a 150-room hotel (under construction) in a mixed-use environment. Cityplace Company has been responsible for over $900,000,000 in new development since 1993. The remaining 5 acres of the Cityplace development will be a high-density, transit-oriented, mixed-use development. From 1986 to 1990 Mr. Sleeper had a development consulting firm, Sleeper & Associates, which advised private owners and institutions on development, zoning and public-private partnerships. From 1975-1986 Mr. Sleeper was with Murray Properties Company in various roles including being president of a property management and leasing company, and being the Dallas commercial development partner. Sleeper began his real estate career with Henry S. Miller Company from 1972-1975. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance in 1968. Mr. Sleeper is the past chairman of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Transit-Oriented Development Council. He is on the board of directors and was a founding member of The Real Estate Council and is past chairman of TREC’s Government Affairs Committee. He was the 2009 chairman of the board of Goodwill Industries of Dallas. He is currently chairman of the TOD TIF and the Farmers Market TIF District. Additionally, Sleeper is or has been on the board of directors of the Building Owners and Managers Association, NAIOP, Oak Lawn Forum, Dallas Theater Center, Friends of the Katy Trail, Uptown Public Improvement District, Cityplace Area TIF District, Preservation Dallas, and the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority. He is a member of Dallas Assembly.

  Christopher Wein

  As President, Christopher Wein leads the senior executive management team for all residential community, housing and high-rise development initiatives at Great Gulf, including construction and property management.  With more than 20 years of senior leadership in the design and development industries, including projects throughout Canada and the United States, his work focuses on utilizing new technologies, sustainable eco-friendly building solutions and engineering ingenuity in the industry. He sits on various boards including The Design Exchange, Prostate Cancer Canada, North York Hospital and has spoken at industry conferences in Shanghai, Dubai, New York, Dallas, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton as well as colleges and universities. He plays a key advisory role in formulating housing policy at municipal and provincial levels of government and participates as an expert guest on numerous housing and environmental panels. Mr. Wein has been recognized for his accomplishments and received many awards including Calgary Inc’s “Top 40 Under 40”. Under his leadership, Great Gulf has been recognized as 2016 "Home Builder of the Year" as well as receiving many top community and high rise development awards.

  Joel Behrens

  Joel Behrens serves as Managing Director within TCC’s Dallas-Fort Worth office and of High Street Residential, TCC’s wholly-owned subsidiary specializing in the development of multifamily housing. In his role, he is responsible for the origination, financing, joint venture structuring, and execution of multi-family investments in Texas. During his tenure at TCC, Joel has executed on 7.1 million square feet of office, multifamily and mixed-use development projects with a total capitalized value of 2.0 billion totaling over 4,700 units. Joel began his career with TCC in 2008 as an Associate in the Houston office, focusing on office development. From 2009-2010, Joel served as an Asset Manager in Dallas, assisting with the investment committee process and oversight of TCC’s development projects. In 2010, Joel joined the Dallas-Fort Worth office as a Vice President where he assisted in the under writing and marketing of office, industrial and multifamily projects. In 2012, Joel took over the leadership of the Dallas-Fort Worth High Street Residential team.

  Ryan Swingruber

  Ryan is a Vice President with Stoneleigh Companies, a private real estate investment company focused on the acquisition and development of income producing multi-family properties. Stoneleigh was formed in 2008 and its portfolio includes 3,700 existing units and another 2,400 units in various stages of development and construction in Colorado, Illinois and Texas. Ryan has been active in the national real estate market the past 12 years managing all phases of multi-family real estate construction and development. Ryan has a track record of successfully delivering over 2,000 residential units and multiple commercial properties. Before joining Stoneleigh, he was a Development Associate and Manager with a private real estate development and management company located in the northeast from 2005-2012. Ryan graduated with a BS in Architecture and a minor in City Planning from Georgia Tech and a MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

  David Roehm

  David Roehm joined Harwood International in 1999. He is Executive Vice President and has oversight of Property Management, Leasing and Construction Management and is also responsible for the financial structuring and capitalization of transactions related to HI projects. He oversees third party engagements in which Harwood International serves as a financial advisor and intermediary. His duties includes oversight of acquisition and disposition underwriting, financial structuring, and the securing of both project and entity level debt and equity capital. David has over 30 years of experience in real estate consulting, finance, valuation, and capital markets. Early in his financial career, David was a manager with a “Big-Eight” accounting firm. In 1997, David joined the largest, full-service NYSE-member firm based in Texas. As a Vice President of its Corporate Finance Department, David helped create a Real Estate Banking Group, which provided investment banking services to the real estate community. While at that firm, David focused on both the public and private financing of real estate operating companies, as well as property-specific transactions. David received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Real Estate and Land Economics from Texas A&M University at College Station.

  John L. Zogg, Jr. serves as managing director for Crescent Real Estate Equities, LLC. Mr. Zogg manages the leasing efforts in the Dallas and Houston markets of over 2,300,000 square feet. Mr. Zogg serves on the board of various local civic organizations including Executive Committees of Uptown Public Improvement District, Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, Downtown Dallas and The Rise School of Dallas. He is a member of The Dallas Assembly, Urban Land Institute, City Center Tax Incentive Finance District, as well as the Downtown Connection Tax Incentive Finance District. Mr. Zogg is vice chairman of the AT&T Cotton Bowl and a founding member of the Advisory Council to the Center for Real Estate Finance at the University of Texas at Austin, Business School.   Elliot Prieur

  Mr. Prieur joins the Gaedeke Group as Senior Vice President of their Real Estate Division with responsibilities that include office leasing operations focusing primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. Additionally, he will play an integral role on our acquisitions team. Elliot has spent his 25-year commercial real estate career at Lincoln Property Company in Dallas serving with a variety of roles, including analyst, marketing manager, Vice President of Office Leasing, and most recently serving as the Senior Vice President and Market Leader for Lincoln’s Dallas Office Division. While at Lincoln, Elliot gained extensive experience in the marketing, development, acquisitions and disposition of complex commercial projects. Key transactions include the office developments at 2000 McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas, the Staubach Company Headquarters in Preston Center, and more than a half dozen mid-rise, class “A” office projects in Far North Dallas including Legacy Town Center I and II and Lincoln Legacy One and Two. In addition, during his Lincoln tenure, he successfully negotiated major leases with Texas Capital Bank, BBVA Compass Bank, GE, Patton Boggs and Dentons in addition to many other private and public firms. A New Orleans, Louisiana, native, Mr. Prieur attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree prior to moving to Dallas in 1991. A former board member of the Dallas Theater Center, Mr. Prieur has maintained a civic involvement at Christ the King Catholic Church, Greenhill School, The Rise School, and The American Red Cross.   Before founding QIP, Chad was Vice President, Acquisitions for Hillwood Investment Properties, where, from 2004 to 2012, he focused on development and acquisition opportunities in numerous markets nationally. In addition to helping lead the company’s acquisition team Chad coordinated over $1 billion in dispositions. He also played an integral role in the sourcing and structuring of numerous institutional joint ventures and development partnerships. Prior to joining Hillwood, Chad was a Director of Leasing and Dispositions with Emerson Partners, a Dallas based owner and operator of office and industrial properties.

  Ken Reese

  Ken Reese joined Hillwood in 1999 and is Executive Vice President of Hillwood Urban. He serves as development director for all efforts related to Hillwood’s urban development, including the consolidation of The Perot Companies’ interests at a corporate campus location under development in Turtle Creek; a planned landmark office tower located off the Woodall Rodgers freeway; and additional office complexes at Victory Park, among other initiatives. Previously, Mr. Reese led Hillwood’s efforts to develop Victory Park, a 72- acre, mixed-use development in uptown Dallas, and home of the American Airlines Center. In this role, he oversaw the development’s residential, office and hotel components. Development projects managed under Reese’s leadership have included the Turtle Creek offices, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, W Dallas – Victory Hotel and Condominiums, One Victory Park office building, the Plaza Office Buildings, The House high-rise condominium, as well as the acquisition and development of the House of Blues. Together with the American Airlines Center, these projects total more than 3 million square feet of building space. Mr. Reese began his career in Dallas for Bramalea, Inc. and in 1991 he transferred to the Toronto corporate office to serve as director of development and dispositions. While in Toronto, Reese was involved in the development of a 500,000-square- foot downtown Toronto office building and three regional malls, as well as the disposition of nine retail and office assets totaling 6.5 million square feet. From 1994 to 1998, Reese worked in Toronto as a consultant for Royal Bank of Canada, Trizac Trilea Partners, Olympia & York, and other companies. During this time, Reese led the strategic planning and redevelopment of a portfolio of 100 assets, managed a pension fund client’s $425 million purchase of three of Canada’s largest regional malls, and oversaw the disposition strategy of a portfolio of 30 assets valued in excess of $500 million.
