  Patrick G. Granson, MCP, CBO, LEED-AP, is the director of Code Enforcement, a division of the Mecklenburg County Land Use and Environmental Services Agency. He is responsible for all plan reviews, permitting, and inspections services throughout Mecklenburg County, including Charlotte and the six surrounding towns of Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Matthews, Mint Hill, and Pineville. Code Enforcement also houses the Mecklenburg County Fire Marshal's office, which conducts fire investigations, fire code plan reviews, and fire safety inspections and education for all projects outside the Charlotte city limits. He joined the County in 1990 as a building code official. Patrick served in many roles, including director of permitting and plan review, before being promoted to Code Enforcement director in 2016. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Belmont Abbey College and has earned the following certifications and licenses: North Carolina Standard Level III Certificates Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire from the North Carolina Code Officials Qualification Board International Code Council certifications in Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Certified Building Official Accreditations from the United States Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Licensed North Carolina General Contractor and Plumbing Contractor

  on Finney joined The NRP Group in 2015 and is now a V.P. of Construction responsible for managing projects across the Southeast during the preconstruction and construction phases, with duties included budgeting, scheduling, plan review, quality control, forecasting, and subcontractor agreements. Previous positions at NRP include Project Superintendent, Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. Prior to joining NRP, Finney began his construction career at Lennar working in the single-family market and moved into multi-family with Alliance Residential as a Project Manager. With more than 19 years in the industry, Finney has delivered over 2500 single family homes and 9000 multi-family units. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management along with minors in Spanish and Outdoor Leadership from NC State University.   Peet Poillon serves as Senior Advisor for NFP’s Property & Casualty group where he is responsible for managing client relationships throughout the southeast.   Mr. Memory is the Department Manager of Utilities Engineering & Coordination for Colliers Engineering & Design and has 37+ years of experience in the management and oversight of utility coordination projects. His expertise includes developing innovations to achieve effective coordination while maintaining project schedules and avoiding contractor delays; cost, value, and risk analysis; problem solving, context-sensitive solutions, subsurface utility engineering, and creative design avoidance techniques. As the former NCDOT State Utility Agent for over 10 years, he managed utility coordination, encroachment agreement programs and railroad permitting for all at-grade crossings and railroad right-of-way permitting.   Matt is an accomplished real estate lawyer with nearly two decades of experience, including a primary role in over $35 billion in real estate transactions. He currently leads transactions for the firm’s Charlotte office. Matt’s areas of expertise include acquisitions and dispositions, ground-up development, construction contracts, joint ventures, loan originations, ground leases, commercial leases and portfolio transactions. Matt also has extensive experience with borrower and lender-side representation on acquisition and construction loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity investments and note on note loans.
