  Brian Salyards is a Principal with PGIM Real Estate Finance. In this role, he is responsible for the direct origination of multifamily debt across the United States, through Freddie Mac; Fannie Mae; FHA; the life company portfolio; CMBS executions and the company's proprietary balance sheet/bridge loan programs. Brian is located in Boston. Brian has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, with considerable experience in commercial real estate finance. Prior to joining the company in 2011, Brian was with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage (now Berkeley Point Capital), where he served from 2001 to 2011. In that capacity, he originated more than $1.3 billion in multifamily loans. Earlier, he was a senior regional underwriter with Berkshire Mortgage Finance. Brian began his career by forming his own real estate company, J&B Home Realty, which he ran successfully for 10 years. As co-owner, he was involved in the acquisition, investment, sale and leasing of single family and multifamily properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Brian received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics. He also earned a certificate in real estate finance from Boston University.

  Sarah Lemke, Esq. manages all aspects of the development of new real estate projects, from conceptual design through construction completion. Ms. Lemke draws on her expertise in the acquisition, financing, permitting, and leasing of mixed-use and commercial real estate projects across the Northeast in overseeing consultant teams, managing the design and entitlement processes, and project budget.   Laura joined Simon Property Group in 2013 and is currently serving as Regional Vice President of Leasing responsible for overseeing a portfolio of over 10 million square feet of retail space in New England region. Laura has served as an integral member of the team specializing in the overall asset redevelopment strategy, lease negotiation and merchandising of the company’s assets. Prior to her current role, Laura was responsible for leasing several of Simon’s luxury properties in Florida and North Carolina. Laura began her career in real estate in 2008 at DDR Corp. (now Site Centers) as part of an executive Management Trainee program with a focus on leasing. During her tenure, Laura advanced to a Leasing Director where she was responsible for the marketing and leasing of multiple retail strip centers and big box centers in the Southeast totaling over 4.3 million square feet. She was also responsible for securing leases with major national, regional, and local retailers resulting in over $33 million dollars in revenue. Laura received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in both Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and also in Marketing. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and resides in Indianapolis with her husband and two children.

  Donald W. Wiest is a founding partner of Dain, Torpy, Le Ray, Wiest & Garner, P.C. He focuses his practice on complex zoning and related permitting work. He served from 2001 to 2006 as the Land Use Counsel to the Boston Redevelopment Authority (“BRA”). In that capacity, he advised the BRA on a wide range of zoning and other land-use matters, including the permitting of large-scale projects involving complex zoning (such as PDA, Urban Renewal Areas, and Institutional Master Plans); drafting new zoning governing significant areas of the city; gave numerous presentations on development-related land-use issues at community meetings and public hearings; and interpreting and drafting amendments to the Boston Zoning Code in a wide range of contexts.   Real estate is in Joel’s DNA. The son of a Cuban architect, he grew up in Miami, traveling to inspect sites with his father and even helping to design two of his childhood homes. After attending the University of Florida and Harvard Law School, Joel became a partner at Goulston & Storrs. After leaving to conduct real estate deals on his own, he soon joined his friend, Steve Samuels, who was looking for some help in growing a development company. Joel is passionate about seeing a new district come to life after years of work. “That’s the best part, watching our new project come to life and be woven into the fabric of the community in which it resides.” Outside of work Joel enjoys being, quite literally, outside.   Jorge E. Mendoza has more than 20 years of architectural design and project management experience. Since joining KPF in 2004, he has led a variety of projects from concept through construction throughout the United States and abroad, with a particular focus in Boston. Jorge’s skillset is broad and he adeptly applies his expertise to a range of project types, from tall towers and large-scale master plans to suburban corporate campuses, leading teams through day-to-day operations and ensuring that client’s expectations are met. Jorge is a seasoned project manager, having led large, multidisciplinary teams in the design of complex projects throughout the world. Also in Boston, Jorge manages the Channelside project, a complex mixed-use development that includes research labs, offices, and residences.   Michael is a principal owner of his firm, The Procopio Companies, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Development. The Procopio Companies is a family development and construction management firm founded in 1950, and active throughout southern New England. Michael is third generation and joined the firm full time in 2003, working both in the field and on the sales team, and later as a project manager and project executive on the construction side of the firm. Michael became a principal in the firm in 2016 through a partial buyout of generation two, as the firm moved from the luxury single-family market to the class-a multifamily construction and development sectors. He is currently responsible for leading the development team through all aspects of large-scale residential & commercial developments, including underwriting and delivery, acquisitions and disposition, approvals and permitting, capital management, strategic planning and sales across a portfolio of companies.   In early 2015 Mike joined Governor Charlie Baker's administration as Assistant Secretary for Business Growth in the Executive Office of Housing & Economic Development, working to advance the administration’s strategy for job creation and business development. Mike has played an integral role in the expansion of major employers in the Commonwealth including Aetna, Alnylam, EMD Millipore, Flextronics, General Electric, Insulet, Siemens and Waters. He serves as co-chair of the board of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and vice chair of the Financial Services Advisory Council. In 1997, he joined Spectrum Equity, a leading growth private equity firm founded in 1994 with offices in Boston and San Francisco. During his more than 15 years at Spectrum, the firm grew from $360 million in assets under management to $4.7 billion and invested in over 100 high-growth internet, software, and information services companies. After his career in private equity, Mike spent two years as Special Advisor to the Receiver at Lawrence Public Schools where he worked with the state-appointed superintendent/receiver on strategic and financial initiatives to support the school district’s turnaround plan. Earlier, Mike was an Associate at TA Associates, a Boston-based private equity firm.   As a Senior Vice President, Addie is responsible for the firm’s multifamily and mixed-use investments. Over the course of her career, she has been responsible for nearly $1B in multifamily ground-up development activity in the Boston market, performing all aspects of the development process including sourcing, permitting, financing, design and construction oversight, marketing and leasing oversight, and disposition.
