In January 2015, he released a comprehensive plan to address the problem of growing inequality in America and provide a blueprint for building an economy that works for everyone, a goal that he will continue to fight for in the U.S. Senate. Senator Van Hollen is proud to have worked successfully with members of both parties to pass bipartisan legislation whenever possible on issues of common concern, including expanding medical research, protecting the Chesapeake Bay, fighting childhood cancer, and passing the ABLE Act to assist families with children with disabilities.   Todd Young

  Senator Todd Young represents Hoosiers in the United States Senate. He currently serves on the Senate Committees on Finance; Foreign Relations; Commerce, Science & Transportation; and Small Business and Entrepreneurship. A fifth-generation Hoosier, Todd grew up watching his parents work hard in order to support the family. His first jobs were delivering newspapers, mowing lawns, and providing janitorial services at the family business. Todd is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He graduated with honors in 1995 and accepted a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 2000, Todd was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps as a Captain. While serving in the Marines and working as a business consultant, Todd earned an MBA and his law degree. In 2010, he ran for Congress and served three terms representing Indiana's 9th District. He was elected to the US Senate in 2016. Todd married his wife Jenny in 2005 and worked together at a small law firm in Paoli, Indiana started by Jenny's great-grandfather. Today, they reside in Greenwood, Indiana with their four young children: a son, Tucker, and three daughters, Annalise, Abigail and Ava.

  Alfonso Costa Jr.

  As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Falcone Group, Alfonso Costa Jr. oversees the development of multifamily apartment communities and condominium projects, leading public-private partnership opportunities as well as the company’s operational and strategic initiatives. His current pipeline of mixed-use development projects includes more than 2,000 residential units and 200,000 square feet of retail & self-storage, with a total value exceeding $1 billion. Such projects include “Block C-East” at Miami WorldCenter, and the “Horizon of Oakland Park,” a mixed-use public-private-partnership with the City of Oakland Park. Prior to joining the Falcone Group, Alfonso served as Deputy Chief of Staff & Opportunity Zones lead for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he oversaw policy for the $50 billion annually-budgeted Cabinet agency, which maintains a wide range of housing and community development programs, a $1.3 trillion mortgage insurance portfolio, and approximately 7,000 employees across 57 offices nationwide. As an expert on the bi-partisan Opportunity Zones program, he held the title of Chairman’s delegate and HUD’s lead representative on the Federal Government’s inter-agency Opportunity and Revitalization Council, and for his efforts he was recognized in the Opportunity Zone Magazine’s “Top 25 OZ Influencers” list for both 2020 and 2021. A former 5th-grade teacher as a Teach for America corps member, Alfonso is now an active social advocate through philanthropic & academic volunteer efforts on both the local and national levels. In his home State of Florida, he is the Program Chair of ULI Florida’s Affordable & Workforce Housing Council (AWHC), Advisory Board Member & recent Chair of the Nova Southeastern University Master’s in Real Estate Development (MSRED) Program, recent Member of the City of West Palm Beach Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, Heart & Spirit Society member for the Boca Helping Hands food-giving non-profit organization, and an In Jacob’s Shoes of Hope Hero member for the shoes/socks/school supplies non-profit organization.   Douglas M. Bibby is President of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), a national organization of more than 1,100 member firms involved in the multifamily housing industry. Under his leadership NMHC represents the industry on Capitol Hill and before the regulatory agencies, promotes research and the exchange of information, and advocates for rental housing across a broad spectrum of issues. Prior to joining NMHC, Bibby spent 16 years as a senior officer of Fannie Mae, where he served on the company’s Management Committee throughout his tenure. He was part of the top management team that is credited with the remarkable turnaround at Fannie Mae in the book Good to Great. Bibby began his career with the worldwide communications firm J. Walter Thompson where he served a variety of clients both domestically and internationally over his 12-year career with the company. At the time of his departure from J. Walter Thompson, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the firm’s Washington, D.C. operations. Bibby has been active in the non-profit community of Washington, D.C. for the past 30 years. Bibby graduated from Denison University with a B.A. degree and was honored with the university’s Alumni Citation Award in 2004.   Greg T. West is President and Chief Executive Officer of ZOM Living and is responsible for all aspects of the Company with particular focus on development activities nationally. He joined ZOM in 1997 and since been involved with all aspects of the development process including identifying new opportunities, compiling due diligence and underwriting parameters. He is also responsible for project design, permitting, and construction. Mr. West also plays a key role in business development and investor relations. Presently ZOM has under construction 3,700 units in Florida, Texas, Chicago, Carolinas and the Mid-Atlantic.   Allina Boohoff, managing director, is the head of asset management’s Multifamily Sector at J.P.Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets. An employee since 2003, she is responsible for leading the asset management efforts for the group’s multifamily portfolio in the U.S., a 50,000 unit, 190-property portfolio valued at $14 billion. Allina is responsible for major joint venture partner relationships in the multifamily sector and has significant involvement in client meetings and presentation related to multifamily investments. She has 20 years of real estate experience and was previously the financial controller for the multi-family portfolio and a financial controller for the Alternative Property Fund and transferred to asset management in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Allina worked for Ernst & Young LLP, where she was a senior accountant in the Real Estate Group. Allina holds a B.S. in finance and economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University, an M.S. in accounting from Mendoza School of Business at University of Notre Dame and is also a CPA.   Joe Muffler serves as Senior Managing Director of Development for Mill Creek Residential, Mid-Atlantic. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the development process, including site acquisition, design, entitlements, financing, and eventual disposition for Mill Creek Mid-Atlantic communities.   Jason Bonderenko specializes in the acquisition, asset management and disposition of FCP’s apartment properties.   Charles Ostroff is a Senior Vice President and Multifamily Chief Credit Officer, reporting to the Executive Vice President of Multifamily. Charles is responsible for establishing the strategic framework to analyze, manage, and mitigate credit risk for Multifamily’s mortgage business. He also leads, oversees, and implements credit and underwriting standards to ensure the creation and application of prudent risk strategies, techniques, and practices for the Multifamily Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS®) program and the division’s mortgage business. Before joining Fannie Mae in 2018, Charles served as Senior Vice President, Chief Underwriter, and Head of Agency Products at Arbor Commercial Mortgage. He was responsible for assigning and directing the staff in conformity with sound credit practices and Fannie Mae guidelines, as well as running the full spectrum of multifamily product offerings, including market-rate acquisitions and refinances, bond credit enhancements, Multifamily Affordable Housing-qualified transactions, seniors housing projects, moderate rehabs and supplemental loan transactions.   Lauren Garren has served in a variety of senior roles at Freddie Mac and has established herself as an indispensable leader across the company. She is currently vice president and chief business officer within Freddie Mac Multifamily where she is a member of the senior management team responsible for business strategy across the division. Ms. Garren also leads the marketing team and is responsible for new offerings developed within Multifamily. Most recently, Lauren served as the vice president, production and sales. In this role, she led two distinct production and sales groups. First, she was the head for the structured solutions group, which works with Freddie Mac’s mortgage lenders and their borrowers to develop creative, innovative and unique financing structures that meet customer needs quickly and efficiently. Ms. Garren also led Production Operations, which manages customer-focused process improvements, internal and external performance goals, and Freddie Mac’s signature Select Sponsor program. In her role leading Structured Solutions, Ms. Garren enhanced Freddie Mac’s structured offerings, which helped drive a 121 percent sales increase in her first year alone. She’s spearheaded a number of innovative offerings, including our social impact program where she led over $1B in transactions to impact investors to acquire affordable rental properties. Moreover, Ms. Garren helped develop the concept that led to Freddie Mac Multifamily’s enormously successful Green Advantage offering.   Brendan Coleman, managing director, is responsible for new loan origination out of Walker & Dunlop's Bethesda, Maryland office.   Emily Butler

  Emily Butler, CPA, is a partner in CohnReznick’s Bethesda office and a member of the Firm’s Assurance Practice. She has approximately 15 years of public accounting experience in providing client services in the areas of audit, reviews and compilations, and other relevant accounting services. This experience includes working with real estate funds, real estate developers, and owners and operators of the following assets: hotels, office, flex, industrial, multifamily, single family, land, and condo development. Emily is experienced with the requirements of investment funds and with Investment Company Guide – Fair Value, GAAP cost basis, IFRS, and income tax basis reporting. Emily is responsible for all aspects of audit and management advisory service engagements, including the planning and coordination with clients’ finance and management personnel. This includes the review and evaluation of internal control systems, the determination of audit scope, selection of procedures to be applied, supervision of staff, and work paper review. Additionally, she is responsible for client communications, review of financial statements, and the identification, resolution, and summary of audit issues. In addition to client responsibilities, Emily has led firm-sponsored recruitment discussions and presentations and instructed continuing education courses for client and professional staff covering such topics as basic real estate concepts, financial statement preparation, and FASB updates.
