  Chris Faussemagne

  A native Atlantan and graduate of the Westminster Schools, Chris graduated in 1994 from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He began his real estate career in 1998 with The Winter Group of Companies and then joined Weaver & Woodbery Company in 2000. In 2005, he formed White Provision Development Co. to acquire and develop the historic buildings at 14th Street and Howell Mill Road in West Midtown Atlanta into a 335,000 square foot mixed-use development that soon became a catalyst for new development in the area. Working with neighboring properties, Westside Provisions District was created to provide one of the Southeast’s top restaurant and retail destinations. Chris joined Third & Urban in 2018 from Westbridge Realty Partners, which was formed in 2010 by the development partners of the White Provision Development Co. to continue focusing on adaptive re-use and urban infill projects as well as consulting on larger regional projects for institutional clients. In the fall of 2017, the company delivered a new historic adaptive re-use project in West Midtown called Stockyards, which has provided much needed office and entertainment space for the area. Chris has won Development of Excellence awards from The Urban Land Institute (ULI), Atlanta Regional Commission, Atlanta Urban Design Commission and the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation for projects he developed. He is on the board of Upper Westside Improvement District, ULI Atlanta, and serves on various land use committees. Chris lives in the Buckhead neighborhood with his wife Katie and their two boys.

  Hank Farmer

  Hank oversees development for Third & Urban, providing construction management and driving design and entitlement efforts. Additionally, he leads all financial analysis and assists in development concepting and pricing for potential acquisitions. Previously, Hank worked as a Development Manager at Jamestown, responsible for due diligence, feasibility analysis and project management for current and future development deals. His focus was both on new construction and adaptive reuse across multiple southeastern markets across multiple product-types and in mixed-use environments. Prior to Jamestown, Hank worked at both Morgan Stanley and Deloitte, and he holds a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Georgia. Hank is a CFA charterholder and a LEED Accredited Professional. He is co-chair of the Atlanta Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and recently served on the Historic 4th Ward Park Board. He and his wife, Christie, live in Morningside with their two black labs and daughter Janie.

  Gene Kansas is a student and explorer of life, devoting his time to family and the city he adores, immersing himself in the arts, education and the greater Atlanta community. Launching in August of 2017, Gene’s most current venture, Constellations, is a civic and social shared workspace where stars come together and shine. Constellations is located in Atlanta’s Sweet Auburn Historic District, birthplace of MLK, Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement.   Since joining the firm in 1988, Dennis has led the design and implementation of SBCH's multi-family/mixed- use urban infill projects.  Additionally, he has guided the firm’s efforts in adaptive reuse, renovation and historic tax credits. Over the years he has successfully completed many LEED certified projects, with six achieving a Gold-level certification.   Dennis brings a focus and passion to the firm’s developer driven engagements. He understands that the initial programming, design concepts and financial goals of each project must be fully tested at the beginning of the process. His comprehensive approach to design creates value and results in functionally efficient and aesthetically appropriate solutions to each individual project.   Mr. Hertlein graduated with honors from Syracuse University in 1982. After working in New York City and San Francisco, he settled in Atlanta and has been a Principal of Surber Barber Choate & Hertlein Architects, PC for 20 years. Dennis is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and is motivated to help advance Atlanta’s in-town maturation.   Mark Elliott is a partner in the real estate practice at Troutman Sanders, where he has practiced for over 30 years. Mark has extensive experience in office development, financing and leasing, primarily representing developers and institutional and entrepreneurial owners and landlords. He has a very active office leasing practice, and he typically is involved in the largest lease deals done in Atlanta every year, as listed in the annual lists published by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Mark’s involvement in these deals allows him to provide clients with practical guidance on large, complex multi-state matters. His clients include several publically traded real estate companies and active real estate developers, operators and investors. He also has experience in hotel and lodging development and finance, where he primarily represents national hotel franchisors and owners. Mark’s work has been recognized in numerous publications such as Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America and Georgia Trend magazine. Mark serves on the board of directors of the Midtown Alliance.   Amanda Rhein

  Amanda Rhein is Senior Director of Transit Oriented Development and Real Estate at MARTA, the nation’s ninth largest transit system which includes heavy rail, bus and paratransit services. She oversees the Office of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and Real Estate, whose vision is to create transit oriented communities that connect people to opportunities, drive sustainable community development and promote regional prosperity. Ms. Rhein previously served as Interim Managing Director of Redevelopment at Invest Atlanta, Atlanta’s Development Authority and the economic development agency for the city of Atlanta. She oversaw the team responsible for managing and marketing the City’s primary economic development tools, tax allocation districts (TADs) and New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs). While at Invest Atlanta Ms. Rhein doubled the number of TADs and funded over 30 projects which resulted in the investment of $3.5 billion in Atlanta’s most underserved communities. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ms. Rhein graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2002. She earned a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004. Ms. Rhein is a regular guest lecturer at the School of City and Regional Planning and has presented at numerous national and local conferences on TOD and economic development and in 2015 gave a TED talk at the TEDxAtlanta Conference. She has also authored articles in Urban Land Magazine, the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Atlanta Journal Constitution and contributed to several best practice case studies for the Council of Development Finance Agencies. Ms. Rhein is active in the Urban Land Institute at both the local and national level. Ms. Rhein is a member of the national Transit Orineted Development Council, a group of 50 national industry experts. Locally, she is active on the Livable Communities Council, a facilitator for the UrbanPlan program and a member of the Atlanta District Council Advisory Board. During her tenure as the inaugural co-chair of the ULI Atlanta Center for Leadership she designed and implemented an innovative leadership program for real estate professionals which now serves as a national model. Ms. Rhein served on the Board of Directors Dad’s Garage Theater Company from 2010 to 2015. She is presently a member of the board of Directors of Rebuilding Together Atlanta and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Atlanta Preservation Center for which she also serves as a Downtown tour guide. She is a member of the Outstanding Atlanta Class of 2011 and the 2006 class of Leadership Atlanta’s LEAD Atlanta program, which she co-chaired from 2008 to 2009 and co-chaired the inaugural Alumni Steering Committee. Ms. Rhein was named one of Atlanta’s 40 Power Women in Real Estate and the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Commercial Real Estate Who’s Who. In 2015, Ms. Rhein recieved the Longleaf Award from the Georgia Conservancy’s Generation Green for her work to promote and implement sustainable growth and multi-modal transportation options in Atlanta.

  Henry Ikwut-Ukwa has over 17 years of experience in transportation policy, planning, engineering, and operations. Since 2016 he has served as Director of Transportation with Atlanta Beltline Inc., providing leadership for the implementation of the Atlanta BeltLine transit and transportation program. The Atlanta BeltLine is a $4.8 billion development comprising of a network of public parks and greenways, multi-use trails, and transit infrastructure by repurposing 22 miles of mostly abandoned historic rail road corridors encircling the core of the City of Atlanta. Arguably one of the most ambitious redevelopment undertakings in the country, it has won several international and national awards (www.beltline.org). He was most recently the Manager of Planning and Development with the Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA) in Birmingham, Alabama and prior to that was Principal of a private consulting firm, Consul Company, and Manager of Transit System Planning with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). His early work experience was in private sector consulting with major engineering firms including Parsons Corporation, URS Corporation, and HDR Incorporated. Henry completed his doctoral work in Transportation Engineering with minor in Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology; and holds a Masters in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelors in civil engineering from the University of Ibadan. He is a registered professional engineer (PE) and member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Planning Association.

  Eric Pinckney

  Eric L. Pinckney is the Project Executive responsible for the implementation of Assembly in Doraville, GA, which is a 145 acre, 10 million square foot redevelopment of the former General Motors plant in metro Atlanta and one of the largest transit oriented developments in the United States. He has been affiliated with Integral since the company’s inception in 1993. Mr. Pinckney has over 25 years of real estate industry experience, including $1.5 billion in multifamily development and $100 million in public improvements. His know-how encompasses engineering design, construction management, project management, and real estate development. Mr. Pinckney has a strong command of the community building process. He has managed every aspect of a program including master planning with community participation; managing public/private partnerships; design; financing; construc- tion; lease-up; operations and compliance. Mr. Pinckney has extensive experience with federal procurement regulations; the use and layering of federal funds with private equity and conventional debt; re- porting; and compliance requirements. Mr. Pinckney was also an instrumental part of the team that developed the mixed-income, mixed-use model utilized to implement the Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta’s Olympic Legacy Program, heralded as “The Atlanta Model”. This model revitalized five distressed communities in the Authority’s portfolio. Mr. Pinckney earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of Leadership Atlanta Class of 2013, and currently serves on the boards of the Georgia Tech Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Arthur Blank YMCA.

  John Eaves

  For the past 10 years he served more than one million residents as chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, seated in Atlanta, Georgia. Voters overwhelmingly elected Eaves three times: in 2006; 2010 and 2015. Each cycle he has set a record, and has won more votes than any other elected leader of a local government in the history of the State of Georgia. Inside Atlanta, since 2006, he has won more Atlanta voters than any other person seeking public office, including former Mayor Shirley Franklin and current Mayor Muhammad Kasim Reed. While the chairman of Fulton County, Eaves set historical milestones. In addition to bringing together the County’s 15 cities’ mayors and councils to address regional issues, he partnered with school systems and businesses. As a result of his unifying leadership the County is now safer, healthier, smarter and stronger economically. Under his bold leadership:  Violent crime is down, jail overcrowding has been eliminated and the recidivism rate is the lowest in years.  The County saved Grady Memorial Hospital from closing (with investment of a half-billion dollars) and in 2017, is building a new surgical center. New state-of- the-art public health and mental health clinics have opened.  The County renovated and reopened a County-owned homeless shelter that provides not only a place to sleep but essential services to eradicate homelessness, including physical and mental health services.  Fulton invested nearly $276 million in new and renovated libraries.  The region passed a $655 million transportation program to repair roads, bridges and expand bus and rail transit services.  The County approved his tax freeze to give property owners real relief on high tax bills.  Fulton County was named the best county in the nation for transparency by the National Association of Counties, after 10 consecutive years of effective and efficient governance with ZERO CORRUPTION or scandal. Eaves is a 1984 graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, and earned a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Administration at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., and has been on the faculty at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, and was assistant dean at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. Eaves spent several years as regional director of the Peace Corps and has visited dozens of countries to learn of their plights and conditions. He has twice been a Fulbright Fellow as well as an American Fellow of the German Marshall Fund working to strengthen transatlantic cooperation on regional, national, and global challenges and opportunities. Eaves is a member of the Social Justice Action Committee at his synagogue, The Temple—one of the oldest synagogues in Georgia. The single father of two children, his son is following in “dad’s footsteps:” a graduate of Morehouse, and joining the Peace Corps to teach children in Africa. His daughter is a high school senior in the Atlanta Public Schools system. The family resides in Southwest Atlanta.

  Derrick is a real estate professional with two decades of industry experience. He has participated in a wide range of asset classes from education, hospitality, health care, et cetera. His body of work covers both residential and commercial deals. He has been involved with many award winning projects such as Atlantic Station, Escambia Courthouse, 1010 Peachtree, and DeKalb Medical Center.   David Kirk

  David Kirk is the only practicing lawyer in the State of Georgia who also is a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners. As such, David possesses an unmatched combination of education, experience, and expertise which he uses to assist clients in a broad range of development and redevelopment matters.
