Prior to joining Toro Development Company, Kelley served as Partner and Senior Vice President of Commercial Development at North American Properties where he led the mixed-use development platform for the company’s Atlanta office. During that time, he oversaw the ground-up development of Avalon, the $1 billion “urbanburb” in Alpharetta, and the iconic transformation of Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta. John graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree and earned an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.

  John Petricola

  John L. Petricola is Senior Managing Director for Rockefeller Group. Mr. Petricola, based in Atlanta, GA, is responsible for the focus and strategic vision for all development activities throughout the Southeast Region. Since joining the Rockefeller Group in 2005, he has led the region’s activities from individual projects to grow a cross-functional development team capable of executing the entire development process from site selection through disposition. Under his leadership, his team has successfully completed residential, industrial, office and mixed-use projects throughout the Southeast. Prior to joining Rockefeller Group, Mr. Petricola ran his own development consulting firm, The Louis Group in Miami. Mr. Petricola started his real estate career in Houston, Texas at L.J. Melody/CBRE Capital Markets as a Financial Analyst, then transitioned into development as a retail development manager for Hines. While at Hines, Mr. Petricola relocated internationally to lead the development of a 750-acre industrial park in central Mexico. Mr. Petricola served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.

  Mike Greene

  Mike Greene joined Portman Holdings as Vice President of Development from Mill Creek Residential Trust where he was responsible for overseeing the development process, including entitlements and design, as well as sourcing new development opportunities in the Southeast. He has also previously worked at Novare Group where his focus was on the execution of high rise, mixed-use developments in the Southeast. Prior to Novare, Mike had originally joined Portman Holdings as Development Manager where his focus was underwriting and analysis of hotel and office mixed use developments nationally. Mike started his real estate career as a Realtor® and sales broker. He later worked as a Project Manager and Superintendent with Turner Construction Company where he focused on the construction management of large-scale institutional projects. As a developer, Mike has successfully developed over 1900 residential homes in the Southeast and Texas totaling approximately $490 million in development cost. Mike received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University. Mike is also a LEED® Accredited Professional and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®).

  Katherine has over 25 years of experience in the design and construction fields. She incorporated Yellow Bird Project Management in April of 2017 as a boutique brand representing developers and owners. Her expertise includes capital improvement work, building re-envisioning, corporate workplace strategy, and base building development. Her projects span office, retail, medical and civic sectors. In 2025, Katherine was recognized as a ULI Atlanta ChangeMaker. ULI notes "these bold, visionary women are shaping the future of the Atlanta region — leading in real estate and land use, mentoring the next generation, and making powerful impacts in their communities." Katherine takes great pride in balancing aesthetics with schedule and budget management, and current clients include Cousins Properties, Woodruff Arts Center, and the Cathedral of St. Philip. In the past five years, Katherine served as either the LL Oversight or the LL Project Manager for tenants such as: Deloitte, Atlanta Journal- Constitution, Visa, Bradley, TVS, Kimley Horn, Amazon and Greenberg Traurig. She began her career in architecture, but quickly shifted to roles as an owner's representative project manager in order to influence macro-level thinking on scope, budget and schedules. During a 10 year tenure at Cousins Properties, where she attained the role of Vice President - Development, she benefited from collaborating with industry- leading innovators and mentors, while learning REIT protocol and best practices. Katherine has a strong history of both civic and community involvement, including serving on the Technical Advisory Panel for the City of Atlanta Office of Buildings and participation in programs with Outstanding Atlanta, LEAD Atlanta, and ULI Atlanta Center for Leadership. She holds a B.S., Architecture, Georgia Institute of Technology, where she graduated with Highest Honors in 2001.

  Candace Rimes

  Candace is a Director in the interiors studio at Fogarty Finger and the head of the firm’s Atlanta office. She has over 15 years of experience and a passion for interior design that spans both commercial and residential interiors. Candace brings a wealth of furniture, finish, and art knowledge to the design process, where she enjoys seeing a client’s vision materialize in direct collaboration. Candace’s clients include New City Properties, Portman Residential, Haslam Sports Group, BXP, and Rockefeller Group. Her recently completed projects include a commercial repositioning project at 1100 Peachtree Street in Atlanta, as well as multifamily interiors at Sora at Spring Quarter, a mixed-use project located at 1020 Spring Street in Atlanta. In addition, her project roster includes award-winning commercial amenity spaces in New York at 1700 Broadway Club, 141 Willoughby, and Oasis at 437 Madison. Currently Candace is working on the design of premium suites and clubs for a new stadium. She received her Bachelor of Architecture and Interior Architecture at Auburn University, where she completed a design-build thesis at the prestigious Rural Studio in Western Alabama.

  Wesley Lovvorn is the Chief Executive Officer of RE-SITE, a turnkey site development firm specializing in all aspects of sitework construction. A fourth-generation construction professional, Wesley began his career in 1998 training in building layout and engineering for his family’s business.   Matt Rendle

  Matt Rendle serves as Chief Investment Officer where he holds primary responsibility for underwriting new investments and redevelopment initiatives for the company. Matt came to Selig in 2015. He has more than 15 years of experience, and has previously held positions in acquisitions, development and asset management. Matt most recently worked at Jamestown Properties where he led Asset Management as Managing Director over a diverse $7.2 billion national real estate portfolio. In various acquisitions roles, he has closed more than $650 million in acquisitions over many product types, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily development and land transactions. Matt has been involved on numerous fronts on several high-profile mixed-use real estate properties, including 111 8th Avenue (Google’s Headquarters), Chelsea Market and One Times Square in NYC; the Georgetown Renaissance Portfolio in DC; and Pacific Place in San Francisco. Locally in Atlanta, his experience includes Ponce City Market, White Provisions and the management and disposition of 999 Peachtree - a Class A 622,000 square-foot office tower. Matt holds a BA from Haverford College and an MBA from Emory University. Matt is on the Steering Committed for the Atlanta Beltline Partnership, and on the Buckhead CID Board.   Zac Gruber

  Zac Gruber is President of the Office Division at Banyan Street Capital and currently oversees a portfolio of 28 institutional quality office buildings in major markets across the Eastern United States, including the firm’s 6 million square foot portfolio in Greater Atlanta. He is responsible for overseeing portfolio performance, leasing oversight, development and entitlement coordination and investor/lender relations for the firm. Over his career, Mr. Gruber has participated in the acquisition, development, leasing and management of over 32 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties. He has successfully acquired over 3 million square feet valued at over $350 million and has successfully negotiated over 700 lease transactions totaling in excess of 8 million square feet. Prior to joining BSC, Mr. Gruber served as Senior Vice President at LYND where he was instrumental in growing the commercial portfolio to over 13 million square feet of office, industrial and retail in 14 states. Most notably, he sourced and led the firms’ acquisition of the iconic John Hancock Center in Chicago, IL. Prior to that, Mr. Gruber served in various leasing and investment positions at Cargo Ventures, LLC, PS Business Parks (NYSE: PSB) and CB Richard Ellis (NYSE: CBG). Mr. Gruber received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Tufts University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida – Hough Graduate School of Business. He is a Miami native where is still lives with his wife Heidi and two daughters and they enjoy all the Miami shoreline has to offer and often as possible.

  Will Yowell is a Vice Chairman with CBRE’s Capital Markets Institutional Properties Group in Atlanta.   Corey assists corporate clients in identifying, analyzing and securing optimal commercial real estate solutions. With over 15 years of commercial real estate experience, Corey has been instrumental in helping small and large businesses align their objectives with their real estate requirements. He has led or had material participation in commercial real estate transactions totaling over $100 million. He has extensive experience in forecasting, analysis, project management, site selection and contract negotiation. Corey began his career with Colliers International as an Asset Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Class A and B office and retail portfolio totaling over one million square feet. Corey also served as Senior Leasing and Property Manager for SugarOak Holdings, a Herndon, VA based company, for an Atlanta office portfolio consisting of approximately 200,000 square feet. He went on to serve as a corporate real estate specialist with Kimberly-Clark Corporation overseeing transactions both state-side and internationally.
