Bisnow Welcome Cocktail Showcases Una Residences

Commercial real estate professionals from all over South Florida gathered together last Thursday to learn about the Una Residences. The 47-story condominium tower, which OKO Group developed and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture designed, will be located in the waterfront neighborhood of South Brickell.

President and CEO of Fortune International Group Edgardo Defortuna, who is handling on-site sales and marketing for Una Residences, gave the welcome remarks at the cocktail.

“Founded by international developer Vladislav Doronin, OKO Group is a sophisticated and well-respected developer throughout the world," Defortuna said. "Una Residences, with their incomparable Brickell Waterfront location and ease of access to the city’s major thoroughfares and best schools, have already become the most desirable address in Miami.”

Una will be on Brickell Avenue, also known as Miami’s Park Avenue. The neighborhood of South Brickell is near Miami’s Financial District, and features several schools, sporting venues and retail offerings.

"Una is located in an established residential neighborhood in close proximity to national parks on Key Biscayne,” said Doronin, OKO's founder and CEO. "The tower will rise between the peaceful, leafy suburb of Coconut Grove with some of the best private schools in the U.S., and the busy commercial hub of Brickell and downtown Miami with its fantastic restaurants and vibrant nightlife.

"Soaring 47 stories with unobstructed views, Una will offer 135 exclusive residences and outstanding amenities, including swimming pools, a gym, a movie theater, a spa with sauna and massage rooms overlooking the bay, and a private marina. Una will further define Miami as one of the world’s leading destinations for elegant living and sophisticated design."

The Una residences' 135 units range from two to five bedrooms. Each residence will feature a private elevator entry and balconies with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.

“Adhering to our philosophy that form follows performance, we saw the unique opportunity with Una to give the building a little bit of attitude in its design,” said AS+GG co-design partner and co-founder Gordon Gill. “It stands contrapposto, where one side of the building is holding its full weight and the other side is relaxed, looking at you. I like that attitude. It’s elegant, it’s very comfortable and it’s sophisticated.”
