At the Downtown LA Renaissance event at the WeWork Gas Tower location in Los AngelesLoeb & Loeb partner Paul Rohrer discussed the area's increasing demand for residential housing.

Paul is working with developers and property owners on land use and entitlement matters for a variety of residential and mixed-use projects in Downtown LA and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Paul tells Bisnow there are approximately 60,000 residents in downtown LA, but that pales in comparison to the 500,000 jobs.

While the supply of potential residents is robust, Paul says developers are struggling to find land on which to build.

He points to nearby Highland Park as a likely spot for future residential development and says developers are eager to break new ground as soon as possible.
