Whole Foods will become an anchor tenant at STC Venture's Town Center project, formerly known as the Sunnyvale Town Center project. The grocery store will occupy 52k SF and include a full café. The project is expected to break ground later in 2017 and will open early 2019.

STC Ventures, a JV of Hunter Storm, Sares Regis Group and institutional investors, revived the long-stalled 36-acre mixed-use project in downtown Sunnyvale in late 2016.

Sares Regis Group of Northern California is working to complete 198 apartments and 116k SF of retail and restaurant in the development in 2018.

Other improvements include reopening Redwood Square for public use in spring, adding new traffic signals and constructing landscaped medians.
