Portland's U.S. Bancorp Tower Earns Wired Platinum Certification

The U.S. Bancorp Tower in downtown Portland earned the Wired Platinum Certification from WiredScore for its high level of in-building technology and connectivity.

WiredScore is an internationally recognized platform that rates the infrastructure, connectivity and technology capacity of commercial buildings.  

The 1.2M SF U.S. Bancorp Tower, owned by Unico Properties LLC, is the tallest building in Portland. Tenants include U.S. Bank, New Relic, SurveyMonkey, Miller Nash Graham & Dunn and Digital Trends.

Other notable buildings to earn this award include the Empire State Building, Willis Tower in Chicago and the Shard in London.

U.S. Bancorp Tower underwent a rigorous certification process that looked at all aspects of its digital infrastructure. The certification requires a seamless connectivity climate that allows all tenants to stay online even during times of high productivity.

The commercial real estate community is taking the importance of connectivity more seriously and the New York-based WiredScore platform can measure that success.Wired Certification is a strong selling point for future tenants. As of May, there were 1,700 Wired Certified buildings worldwide.
