The Chinese online e-commerce behemoth Alibaba might be establishing its US HQ in Seattle. The move would put the company in direct competition for talent with Amazon, and presumably for office space as well. Rents would be less here than, say, in San Francisco, which might be another logical choice for the company, notes the Puget Sound Business Journal. The publication cited unnamed sources, and there's no timetable for the move, if it happens. [PSBJ]
