CTE Leases Sumner Warehouse

CTE Logistics and Warehousing leased a building at Sumner Ridge Development.

A 116K SF under-construction Sumner Ridge industrial warehouse has fully leased to CTE Logistics and Warehousing.

The firm leased Building A, which is located at 3400 West Valley Highway East. Colliers International’s Bill Condon and Matt McGregor represented developer Bertch Capital Partners, based in Redmond.

Bertch announced plans to build the two Sumner Warehouses in June 2018. The building is set to be complete toward the end of the second quarter. CTE is a freight management partner that handles all aspects of the domestic supply chain. It will occupy the entire warehouse property.

Last year, Automatic Products leased the other Sumner Ridge development building before construction began. NAI Puget Sound Properties’ Jeff Forsberg represented CTE Warehousing.

Sumner is part of the Kent Valley industrial cluster, near both Tacoma and Seattle ports, as well as Sea-Tac airport. The site is near State Route 167 and includes modern industrial facilities. Kent Valley is home to dozens of industrial warehouses. Last October, West Valley Business Park — a commercial business park in Kent — sold for $30.45M.
