Allen Matkins named San Francisco-based land use attorney Michelle Moore McDermott as a new partner. She joined real estate attorneys Stephen Etheredge (LA) and Julie Hoffman (Century City) as one of three lawyers selected to make partner.

The firm’s managing partner, David Osais, congratulated the trio on their accomplishment. "Steve, Julie and Michelle add incredible expertise and strong client relationships to our partnership and will advance our ability to provide pre-eminent service and value to the real estate industry," he said.

Michelle has expertise in “project entitlements, CEQA compliance, green buildings, military base reuse and renewable energy” and helps clients across many industries navigate the complicated issues that surround land use and acquisition. She is a LEED AP and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Michelle earned her bachelor's degree at UCLA before attending the University of California, Davis, School of Law.
