Celebrity Chef Michael Mina, NFL Plan Temporary Super Bowl Restaurant

Michael Mina plans to open a temporary restaurant in San Francisco in partnership with the NFL for Super Bowl 50.

The week-long celebration will include closing down more than two blocks of Market Street for a free, public fan village and NFL Experience. NFL officials expect 1 million people will hit the Bay Area for Super Bowl-related events that week.

The temporary restaurant, called "On the Fifty," will replace normal operations at RN74 at 301 Mission St from Feb. 1 through Feb. 7 (that's game day), according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal. It will use RN74's menu with some additional Super Bowl dishes. You just might see a few NFL players walking around during dinner as well. [SVBJ]
