Bisnow Says Goodbye To VP West Coast/Pacific Northwest Mike Martinez
Mike Martinez, Bisnow’s VP West Coast/Pacific Northwest, who is based in San Francisco, will be moving on to serve as TEAMWRKX Construction’s newest vice president of resource and business development.
A crucial part of the Bisnow family for more than three years, Mike’s leadership deepened the company’s presence in the Bay Area. While Mike will be missed by his colleagues, he leaves behind a legacy of hard work, passion and boundless energy.
“Mike helped us grow from a new kid on the block to a big-time player in the San Francisco market,” said Tyler Fisher, Bisnow’s head of sales in New York. “Before Mike, it had been a tough nut for us to crack. That said, I can't say the growth in the San Francisco market came as a surprise.”
Bisnow CEO Will Friend remembered the first time he spoke to Mike in San Francisco — during an early morning phone call from New York.
"It was 4:30 a.m. where he was and he sounded like he had been at the office for hours," Friend said. "I knew we had a go-getter, and not just after that call, but during his first week on the job after he was hit by a cab. Within minutes he was back on phone calling a client. That's dedication."
