Hamilton Landing Aircraft Hangar Conversion Trades

ScanlanKemperBard just scooped up Hamilton Landing in Novato, which consists of seven, two-story office buildings that were previously used as aircraft hangars and owned by Barker Pacific. Barker managing director Michael Barker (here on a hike in Southern Utah) says when Disney shut down at the office park campus four years ago, he lured in an assortment of new tech tenants craving a creative layout. In January he told Bisnow he had "a ways to go there" before the campus is full, but has managed to capture strong absorption.

The sale comes after SKB's recent acquisition of Westgate Center, which brings the company to a total of 1.4M SF of space in the Bay Area. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hamilton Landing was originally developed as a United States Air Force Base in 1936. The hangars on site were converted to office space in 2000.
