Union City Seismic Upgrade Project Wraps Up

OCC Commercial Construction just finished work on a 191k SF industrial project for SEKO Logistics, a global supply chain solutions corporation. OCC president Lowell Mazon says the firm put in 16k SF of new expansion slabs, concrete surface refinishing, re-roofing, drought resistant landscaping and more. The new space is Title 24 compliant. The mixed-use at 33300 Dowe Ave was on a fast-track schedule for building renovation and seismic upgrade. The day after the previous tenant moved out, OCC was already at work. It was an eight-week build.

The East Bay industrial warehouse space is a hot market when it comes to office space and people are migrating further down away from the Port of Oakland and finding gold in areas like Union City. Last year OCC did a 330k SF project in Hayward, and it's also wrapping up a 27k SF job in Santa Clara.
