Construction at Overton Moore Properties' manufacturing industrial project in Newark, CA, continues on schedule for an October opening. Eureka Landing will cover approximately 140k SF and allow tenants to use 45k SF for office space with amenities.

Overton Moore Properties CEO Timur Tecimer says a variety of high-tech tenants could make use of the space. “We have designed the building to optimize its utility by high-tech, life science, data center, clean energy or solar firms to realize and create their innovations in the same space,” he says.

Industrial real estate lives or dies based on its proximity to key transportation infrastructure. Eureka is two blocks from I-880, allowing fast flow of goods to and from the property. Other features expected to draw industrial tenants include “16 dock-high doors, two oversized grade-level doors, 32-foot clear height, ESFR sprinkler systems and 4,000 amps of 480-volt power.”

Newmark Cornish & Carey executive managing director Steve Kapp points to the project’s location and adaptability as key features. “OMP Eureka Landing represents a unique opportunity to lease a brand-new, high-quality building, which is also customizable to its user’s specifications,” he says. Steve adds the supply of similarly sized buildings in Silicon Valley is highly limited.
