Given the fluctuations in equities today, single-tenant, long-term assets are secure and income producing. “These types of investments are truly a safe haven for investors," says Rob Bickel, who moved from The City to LA after 16 years to expand JLL's West Coast net lease practice. Rob tells us he’s looking to bring more assets to the interactive website JLL has designed to market single-tenant assets to investors. It features a war room chock full of info needed to make an educated offer, including due diligence materials, photos, surveys, and third-party reports. He’s a managing director of JLL’s corporate finance and net lease practice, which has two components. One is the private equity capital markets involving smaller, $1M to $10M single-tenant assets typically bought by 1031 exchange investors. The other, corporate advisory, is more of aninstitutional play, targeting larger office and industrial assets.
