Cool Office Space: Colliers International San Diego
Colliers International San Diego Region has completed a redevelopment of its North County San Diego office. A traditional, closed design was changed to an open design to foster collaboration between the company's brokerage teams.
The company has occupied the Carlsbad office, which is at 5901 Priestly Ave., Suite 100, for the last 10 years. It tasked Michele Arnold-Kush of Safdie Rabines Architects to reimagine its workplace, with Ross Jones of White Construction as the contractor.
Colliers International’s 8,300 SF North County San Diego office now features flexible workspaces, oversized common areas and increased tech capabilities and amenities.
Colliers International Senior Vice President Ron Miller said the new individual and communal workspaces’ technology connections better support the more mobile and collaborative working style of Colliers employees.
The company already had experience in revamping its local offices. In late 2016, Colliers International relocated its 20K SF Central San Diego office to a new workspace in The Plaza at 4350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, in the Golden Triangle.
The space in The Plaza also features flexible workspaces, common meeting areas and strong connectivity as well as indoor and outdoor amenities, including a direct link to Westfield UTC by a pedestrian bridge.
