The hotel REIT reported this week that operating revenues from its hotels—including food and beverage—jumped to $916M so far this year, up from $833M the same period last year. And the firm in SEC filings credited three of its San Diego hotels with having “significant increases” in revenues:

  • L'Auberge Del Mar (here), which saw a $2.8M boost.
  • The Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa, which tallied a $2.2M increase.
  • The San Diego Paradise Point Resort and Spa, which saw a $1.6M jump.

This comes just months after LaSalle reported record hotel revenues across the board, with San Diego hotels again helping boost its revenues. Other area hotels, including Hotel Solamar (here) and The Serrano Hotel in San Francisco, both with a $1M increase previously, were not among those reported this time. LaSalle officials credited a “moderately improving US economy” for the boost, which resulted in a 3.6% RevPAR jump over all its portfolio.
