The New Home Co., a publicly traded California homebuilder, is expanding into the San Diego market with a collection of 133 one- to three-story attached homes at Civita, a 225-acre master planned community in Mission Valley developed by Sudberry Properties. The collection of homes, called Promontory, is on an 8.7-acre site atop the highest point in Civita. Prices will begin in the $700Ks.

Designed by Colorado’s award-winning Woodley Architectural Group, Promontory, which is under construction, features one- to three-bedroom homes, ranging from 1,407 SF to 2,188 SF with up to three and a half bathrooms. Home designs feature floor-to-ceiling windows for unobstructed views from the site’s hilltop perch, great rooms and oversized patios and decks. The New Home Co. plans to open an on-site sales gallery in late summer 2017, when a selection of residences will be offered to prospective buyers on the pre-sales interest list. A model home grand opening for Promontory is planned in late 2017.

Designed by local architect/planner Gordon Carrier of Carrier Johnson + Culture, Civita is a high-density, transit-oriented urban village organized around a network of parks and open spaces and features a mix of housing types for all income levels. Plans call for 60 to 70 acres of parks and open space, 4,780 residential units and 900K SF of commercial space, which includes 400K SF of office space, a town center with 400K SF of retail amenities and 100K SF of neighborhood retail services scattered throughout the development.
