New High-Rise Community Proposed For Tempe
The Empire Group of Cos. is proposing a new high-rise community called Revelry in Tempe, Arizona, the company announced in a Wednesday press release via its luxury urban Aspirant Development division.
The new Class-A mixed-use high-rise community is expected to break ground this spring on the corner of Rural Road and University Drive.
Under proposed plans, Revelry would boast 533 residential units across two towers, one with 17 stories and the other with 15 stories, that would collectively span 850K SF. The property includes 5,500 SF of ground-level retail space and 11K SF more across the second floor.
The towers’ amenities would include wellness spaces, aromatherapy rooms, saunas, pickleball courts, a bowling alley, golf simulators, lounges, an arcade and a dog spa. Other perks would include a 27K SF outdoor deck, a resort-style pool, a garage with self-storage, coworking spaces, a coffee bar and a fitness center.
The Scottsdale-based Empire Group couldn’t be reached for comment, but Geoffrey Jacobs, managing partner of Aspirant Development, said in the press release that Revelry would benefit from “exceptional visibility, direct access to ASU, and a dense surrounding population.”
The city of Tempe plans to acquire two historic buildings in the downtown area, the Tempe National Bank and the Tempe Hardware Building, that date back to the early 1900s in an effort to preserve them amid redevelopment in the area.
