Life Science Incubator Opens In West Philly

Militia Hill Ventures has opened the MHV Innovation Hub, a facility for early-stage life sciences companies in West Philadelphia, across from 30th Street Station.

The facility, at 3001 Market St, features offices, workstations, a café, locker facilities and conference rooms, and eventually there will be wet labs. Initial residents include biotech companies, along with firms focused on diagnostics and health, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports. The venture is intended to build on the region's history of developing life science companies.

The MHV Innovation Hub is in the same space as PHL Next Stage Med, a healthcare company accelerator, and Plexus Innovation Hub, a medical device co-working community. [PBJ]
