A long-standing public feature in the middle of Center City is getting a fresh makeover for the warm months of 2018.

Thomas Paine Plaza, the area adjacent to City Hall that is currently home to the 20-year-old "Your Move" installation of massive board games, will be transformed into a 2K SF urban farm next year, thanks to a $300K grant from the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage to the Philadelphia Horticultural Society, Curbed Philly reports.

Produce from the farm will be donated to homeless-focused nonprofit Broad Street Ministry, and the space will also host performances, gardening workshops and forums meant to highlight the challenges many low-income urban residents have in obtaining fresh food.

The farm is temporary for fall and summer 2018, and the next move for "Your Move" has not yet been released.
