Employees from Skanska USA’s Greater Philadelphia office with employees from Merck’s Kenilworth branch recently participated in Habitat for Humanity Newark’s first annual Corporate Challenge. The team hung drywall in homes located throughout the Ironbound section of Newark.

Skanska USA also recently kicked off one of our favorite traditions (to photograph): its 8th Annual Safety Week. Employees participate in “Stretch and Flex,” a daily safety routine performed in each Skanska office and job site. Skanska’s 53,000 employees around the world—entry level through upper management—touch their toes, do squats and lunges, and bend their fingers backward in unison to prevent soft tissue injuries. We eagerly await the workout video.
