Capital Oversupply Poses Threat

Snapped at The Money Chase, a recent ULI Orange County/Inland Empire event at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach focusing on the debt and equity markets: JP Morgan Asset Management executive director Morgan Lingle, Sabal Financial Group CEO Pat Jackson, Artemis Real Estate Partners principal Bryan Crane, HG Capital partner Henry Bandet, and Rising Realty Partners CEO Nelson Rising, who moderated. The panel discussed threats to their businesses--namely regulation and an oversupply of capital competing for deals--and agreed that great success will come from having knowledgeable JV partners.
