Infill Retail Expansion in Laguna Hills

VINTAGE 104

Vintage Real Estate broke ground recently on the $17M expansion and renovation of the Village at Nellie Gail Ranch in Laguna Hills, which will total 100k SF. Vintage chairman Fred Sands, right, chose expansion because the Laguna Hills has strong demographics, with many high-end residential neighborhoods.Fred is with Laguna Hills Mayor Pro Tem Andrew Blount and Mayor Barbara Kogerman.

Village -FRESH MARKET-

Last year, Vintage acquired four acres adjacent to the former Moulton La Paz Shopping Center from the city of Laguna Hills to allow for the expansion and redevelopment. Fred tells us they have a lot of interest from retailers.Fresh Market, for one, has already signed for 21k SF and will be a new brand to the Southland market. The project will be completed early next year. And judging by the number of cars in the rendering, by that date, everyone will shun cars (in favor of jet packs, we hope).
