Women & Wine!

Last night we went to the Tysons Ritz-Carlton for the 11th annual Women & Wine to raise funds for Georgetown's Lombardi Cancer Center.

We snapped HEROES chairman Cherrie Dogget; event co-chair Baker Tilly's Barbara Schaefer McDuffie; journalist, honorary chair and emcee Greta Kreuz; and Spirit of Life honoree, breast cancer survivor and ExxonMobil's Claire Madden.

Congrats to all for funds raised last night for breast cancer research: $265k in sponsorships, $100k from the silent auction, and $40k from the tables. Here, executive committee members Bognet Construction's Jennifer Bognet and CBRE's Meredith LaPier bookend wine dude and greeter extraordinaire Vornado's Bruce Pascal.

Congrats to the wine dudes, who raised $10k in tips. Here, two of the best, Chevy Chase Trust's Larry Fisher and Cardinal Bank's Kevin Reynolds, bookend Crystal City BID's Angie Fox fresh off being quoted in the New York Times' profile of Crystal City.

Since this fundraiser began 11 years ago, it's raised $1.8M. Here, Brandywine Realty Trust's Natalie Dahlstrom, CBRE's Gwen Fraker, and Cushman & Wakefield's Kate Datin. Congrats to all.
