Sip & Salsa!

We also went to Crystal City for the 8th annual Sip & Salsa, a fun, energetic wine and food festival presented by the Crystal City BID and the Washington Wine Academy. We snapped Mike Hajjar, interior designer Letty Cortizo, teacher Norma Toledo, Weather Analytics’ Jason Levit, and Teddy Ray.

Live Latin jazz entertained the crowd while Columbia Pike's Salsa Room gave dance lessons. The wine continued the theme with sips from Spain, Portugal, and Argentina. Here, Health Solutions' Jules Burke, Born 2 Dance Studio's Elif Uncu, and Capitol MMA's Casey Terrell.

Guests sampled tastes from 18 local restaurants and shops, including steak from Ruth's Chris, salsa from California Tortilla, and olive oil from Harris Teeter. Here, CARE's Nicole Ellis, NRECA's Meghaan Evans, and SIA's Liz Hunger.
