We toured the home, also known as the Brewmaster’s Castle, which belonged to DC’s most successful brewer, the late Christian Heurich, and saw original hand-carved woodwork, furniture and a bierstube, German for beer room. Think Local First DC’s Stacey Price and Heurich House Museum volunteer Seth Hennes, Kayla May, Michael Emerson, and docent Jennifer Ezell.
