Helping Children Soar!

Last night we also headed to the Children’s Law Center 14th annual Helping Children Soar benefit at the Kennedy Center Roof Terrace Restaurant. CLC partners with law firms to help thousands of children each year get a better education, health, and a stable, loving family. We snapped its co-chairs Ted Segal and Jessica Abrahams.

The reception overflowed from the restaurant to the terrace, where we enjoyed the weather with 600 lawyers and child advocates. Congrats to the Children’s Pro Bono Champion, Crowell & Moring’s Dan Forman, Anita Stephen, and Susie Hoffman.

Guests sipped wine and ate prime rib sliders, baked goat cheese dip, and tortellini. Here, CLC executive director Judith Sandalow and the evening’s speaker Lena Borsellino, whose remarkable story brought tears to everyone’s eyes.
