Last night we headed to Arena Stage on the southwest waterfront for the National Women's History Museum de Pizan Honors.

The annual event’s mission is to educate the public about the women who have significantly shaped our world, ensuring their legacy remains alive. Here, International Center for Research on Women’s Lyric Thompson joins honoree and GoldieBlox founder Debbie Sterling with NWHM’s Marjahn Golban.

At the cocktail reception beforehand, we snapped Alcatel Lucent's Marie Royce with Bogart Associates' Jennifer Bogart.

Mount St. Mary’s College of Los Angeles’ Stephanie Cubba, with its president Ann Mcelaney-Johnson and Lila Goldsman. Mount St. Mary’s College has been a major sponsor of the National Women’s History Museum.

Chubb & Son’s Rachel Grace, Shawn Leonard and Soraya Pickett join Clements Worldwide’s Christian Oropeza and Michelle Brown. Last night three women were honored in person (plus four posthumously), including Interior Secretary Sally Jewell.

Export Import Bank’s Angela Freyre joins NWHM prez Joan Wages, director of the board and incoming chair Susan Whiting, communications director Susan Murphy and vice chair of the board Gretchen Green.
