DC Design House!

Everyone loves the annual DC Design House, because it’s fascinating to see how 28 top designers can transform a home, and it’s always great to support Children’s National Medical Center. This year, it’s at 4600 Linnean Ave NW in Forest Hills. At a preview yesterday, we snapped the team who worked on the exterior: Rill Architects’ David Benton and D & A Landscapers’ Gina Benincasa and Blake Dunlevy.

Renowned interior designer Kelly Proxmire redid the living room and lacquered the walls a pale grey. The designers volunteer their services to showcase their talents and help a great cause.

Aidan Design’s Nadia Subaran redesigned the kitchen, and Victoria at Home’s Victoria Sanchez did the adjoining family room. The Design House is open Tuesday through Sunday, April 13 to May 11.
