Botanical Garden!

Last night we headed to the St. Regis for the National Tropical Botanical Garden 50th anniversary gala. We snapped NY Times columnist Thomas Friedman, who spoke in great detail about the similarities between economics and nature, with an emphasis on sustainability. He’s surrounded by NTBG past chairman Merrill Magowan and his wife Cinnie and NTBG CEO Chipper Whickam.

NTBG Trustees Deborah Sanderson and Charles Walker with campaign director Jacque Dunn. Guests were treated to a wonderful three-course meal with a lobster tail.

NTBG donors Doris Meissner and Genie Meissner join two of their fellow Queens College classmates, Betsy Matthews and Pat Raven. The dinner capped a day-long symposium on sustainability.
