We went to a cocktail reception for American Ballet Theatre at Georgetown's Peacock Cafe.

The exclusive event warmly welcomed ABT to DC for its weeklong performance of Don Quixote at the Kennedy Center. We snapped The Publicist League’s Therese Quiao, lawyer Marc Chafetz, and Andrea’s Beau’s Andrea Chafetz.

Guests could meet 30 ABT dancers and staff members. Here, Kristen Ketner, BYT’s Ashley Wright, and ABT dancer Gabe Stone Shayer.

Chef Maziar Farivar prepared cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Here, ACCE’s Elizabeth Jennings, ABT dancer Patrick Frenette, and The Advisory Board’s Annie Gerlach.

In early 2012, Fashiontographer’s Walter Grio, right, created the Shoot for Change scholarship that’s given two young dancers full-tuition scholarships to train at ABT. He’s with Daniil Simkin and Puani Brown.
