We also joined Drinker Biddle this week to mark the debut of its lobbying practice as The District Policy Group. We snapped the group's president, Ilisa Halpern Paul, with Drinker Biddle partner and former Department of Education GC Charlie Rose at the Flying Bridge. Ilisa tells us the launch was in the works for 18 months. The group will stay a part of the firm but wanted to reflect its full-service work that goes beyond the average government relations group (such as grass-roots organizing, social media training, and Hill days). The rebrand started internally as a way to boost awareness of its offerings to other lawyers in the firm.
